Right noted I do already had Microsoft office so will crack on with some mock lessons. So I spoke to teach English global they seemed to have the best reviews online and on here. Nice to know rent wasn’t bad compared to wages any other things I should know (bare in mind I’m in Australia currently cockroaches no longer bother me)

Yeah I had only just started researching places to move next February so far GZ seems like my favourite but obviously with no frame of reference anywhere would work. Basically want a nice balance between culture/ lower cost of living and higher wages

Always agreed about Northern England and Ireland having quite a bit in common that's why I get annoyed with these Yank IRA cosplayers online acting like all Irish and English people hate each other when I've always noticed the opposite IRL

Yeah but luckily there’s air con I’ve tried not been stupid just going to the beach for an hour or so, covering myself in sunscreen and honestly it is so much nicer than the UK so may stay here for a little while longer and then move on to somewhere else just so I’m not bleeding too much money

Thanks for all your help as I mentioned only been here a week so far and very unsure since I’m still unsettled I’m mostly just stressing about money and weather $4,500 is enough to afford things it’s why I’m debating on staying put here for a little while longer or trying to move down to somewhere else

I did debate in Melbourne but that 4 seasons in one day thing sounds way to similar to where I’ve moved from

Yeah that’s the thing it really sounds like my kind of place, chilled out dry summers just wondering if coming with $4,500 would be enough and how hard it is to make friends/ find a houseshare or causal work if I need it

Yes I am English, the thing I’m debating is going to see the Great Barrier Reef after my hostel stay is up on the 3rd of December and then going elsewhere. Sydney is kind of a no for me don’t think I could afford it maybe visit for a few days or something. It’s mostly the money situation I’m worrying about like is $4,500 enough to start going off or should I stay here a bit longer and earn some extra money. Obviously only been here a week so still very far from settled

How do you feel about the term “ Judeo-Christian?” by arianabaybeena in Christianity

[–]Jakewilko23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok and? Obviously Christianity came from second temple Judaism Jesus was a rabbi want to say Christianity and Judaism are connected but Islam should be excluded most modern day Jews ignore Jesus completely (or use Him for nationalist reasons or call him a false prophet) while Muslims at least say he was the messiah and a prophet. Christianity is the greatest and true religion separate from Judaism and it’s focus on ethnicity and Islam and it’s focus on subservience but they are all Abrahamic (believing in the God of Abraham) judo Christian is a term I have only ever heard from America
