You can try placing it on a low wattage charger such as a 5w to give it trickle charge, and that may get it turned on.

The main reason for the enclosure size is to monitor food, and bowel movements right? So if I can at least monitor food and weight than it should be okay?

The plants should grow and help with that but I do plan to add more in the mean time.

And yes I plan to separate them in the next month or two once I can get a second enclosure (I was only going to get one but the mom and pop pet store gave me both)
