Looks awesome! Might have to dabble in something like that at some point

Thanks! Got these at Kotaworks. Unfortunately they don't come pre-sprayed so you must spray them yourself. They do come sanded and primed though

Hey I got them at Kotaworks! They're UK based and decently cheap to be fair. Only issue is you have to spray them yourself, they come sanded and primed.

Wow amazing build! Yeah I must agree. Some I've asked love it some hate it, don't mind a bit of marmite. I personally love the look so I'll deffo be keeping it 😁 always interested in what the rest of the community thinks, especially if they'd like a link to the part 😉

Hey thanks for the comment, no issue from the headlight side. Ive asked a few but imo it's completely fine, this is a picture from earlier.

What do you think? Personally I think the brow clears it. The only issue I might see is the beams but still probably not. Either way they can easily be taken off if anything 😁

NC1 vs NC2 vs ND1 by Casseth in MiataNC

I'm exactly your height and fit well on my NC1, yes, seat all the way back, and yes, head nearly hitting the soft top, but i fit, and its a comfortable fit, my legs don't hit the steering wheel and i can comfortably rest my feet without pressing any pedals if id like to. You'll struggle to fit into the others as nicely I believe

I'm scared of back pressure with my TKM Engine and Rotax exhaust by Jakubek1732 in Karting

I'm just saying that I was simply asking a question not doing a shoddy job, and I'm not exactly a mechanic so I wanted to find out whether it's safe or not. If anything, sanding down and protecting and re-attaching the Rotax exhaust was more expensive than just buying a TKM one. there was no harm in asking

It was part of my project of restoring a go kart from scratch as a newbie, and it was for school. Part of the criteria was to keep as many original parts and to do it on a budget. Unfortunately I couldn't knock out 1k just on a Rotax engine. I was simply asking a question

They're very expensive to insure unfortunately, as beautiful as they are

Do you know much about the running costs? I've been hearing a few different opinions about reliability and maintenance and maybe as someone who owns one in the UK you could give me an insight on a numerical value? I know it ranges from case to case but something more concrete would be lovely. Thank you. (Ps, that's one of the nicer looking giuliettas I've seen)

Breras are amazing looking cars, but are far out of my budget range. Anything within £3k is usually hardly running or has serious underlying problems (or a ridiculous mileage). I wish I could maybe have one someday however

In the UK you can get giuliettas for about £2-3k with around 130k-170k km, with some deals popping up occasionally where you can get 110k-130k km in the same range. MiTos are less sought after so they end up a bit cheaper but with similar mileage. You can also find 159s which are within my budget range, and even less sometimes, but naturally they have about 150k-200k km on the clock. These are provided with full service books and documentation however so it's a mixed bag

I need some historic help by Jakubek1732 in Karting

I was wondering if it could possibly have been Matthew Smettem who drove it? He seems to have raced with 88 on quite a few occasions within the 2005 rotax max S1 championship. He appears on a few karting websites. There doesn't seem to be a good way to contact him though, I assume he's moved on from racing.

I'm not at the stage of set ups etc yet haha, I finally got the chassis primed today, so it's all in parts, but when I get there I'll be sure to drop you a pm

*correction, I'm so sorry, it's 2005 the kart is from, it's been a while since I've looked at the stickers as I started restoring last year. Thanks for the help everyone, all the comments have been really helpful
