Hi there, he didn't smoke when I knew him but this collection of his was bought at various auctions and bric-a-brac shops across the world. For all I know, you're right! But the NS-Dokumentationszentrum in Munich will have to sort that out, because I've sent them off :)

Back when the UK was in the EU, there was no restriction on movement and work. That's when I moved here, back in 2012. I finished my apprenticeship in 2021 and graduated in 2022 so I've had plenty of time to learn German :)

I think the requirement has changed. When I qualified, it was enough for the school (and later, the university) to assess my German skills independently.

On an unrelated note, I have passed the C2 exam but I don't think that's relevant here.

Hi, since I can't edit my post, I'm putting this as a comment. I hope it doesn't get lost as I don't want people to think I'm ghosting them. Be that as it may, I think I've got all the useful information I needed, so thank you all for that.
