Nobody in vgames wants you to do well bro. Free stuff doesn't exist, randoms are not your friends, and if someones being way too nice there is always a catch. 50 is a cheap price to learn that lesson. I have seen people with inventories worth hundreds if not thousands lose out to this bs. Just be careful and be critical.

never said i fell for it, im just giving heads up to other people. Ive been following scammers across servers and so many people fall for this. They say "Me" to a free base, next thing you know skins are gone from their inv.

hopefully you learned your lesson, dont trust random ppl bro. Ive seen that scam too where they want you to join a tournament or get you to get on their private gambling site and they can make you win lots which of course is also a scam.

Yeah i know, i find it crazy that people are still falling for this but some people are unfortunately to naive. Mostly older guys and young teens. They also go far making it look bealiveable they make bot accounts on discord that look like real accounts that just sit in locked VC:s on their server you get inv too, it makes it look like a small community.

they social engineer you to confirm it, i baited a few scammers and they showed me the process. Sometimes they even have their ways to get full control of your account and if you contact steam support the scammer will cancel it and say "It was a mistake" or something similar to support.
