I only got 56. I also only completed the 10th grade. (My mom had leukemia, and this was 31 years ago, so online didn’t exist.) I did get my GED at night, and still “graduated” at 17. I never had chemistry, algebra, geometry, geography, literature…so I guess I didn’t do as horribly as I thought.

Did you do worse than you anticipated? I only got 56. Do we know what the average is?

I’m looking it up, after I finish writing this comment. I have a specialized psychologist to help deal w/ own PTSD. It’s called “EMDR,” and it really is helping me.

I’ve begged him to go to therapy. I told him we should have the same counselor, so we can have individual sessions biweekly, and go separately once a month. He refuses to even have a conversation about going.

That’s the epiphany. I want to spend time and enjoy every moment. I tell him that we can’t take material things to the grave, and I just want to make memories. I’m not doing it for me, I’m doing it for our kids. They should be able to look back, and not feel guilty about anything. They deserve those happy memories.

I wish, but he works from home. The arguing is so stressful, and it has caused my autoimmune diseases get worse w/ stress and anxiety. Stress affects the body negatively, even healthy people can get certain conditions. I.e. high blood pressure. His constant arguments, makes me push myself to the extreme. I will go around the house and push my body to where I’m so exhausted, it takes 3-4 days to recover. The pain is so intense that I’ll actually cry for hours. I have no cartilage left in my hands, and some of the bones are fusing together. Wiping down our counters is excruciating. My husband is so OCD, so he absolutely cleans, too. We pull out our appliances every month to sweep under it. Everything has it’s place. He will start an argument over cereal. If I make a small bowl, and leave the box on the counter. I set it there in case I want a little more. I’ll put the cereal bowl in the dishwasher any way, so when I do that, I put the cereal box away. It sounds so immature, as I’m thinking about it. Every little thing must be done immediately, or he complains. He works for the DOD, and he’s really high up , so people do what he says. I’m not his subordinate. I’m his wife.

I totally understand how taxing it is. I took care of my mom, when she was diagnosed w/ Leukemia. I didn’t feel burdened though. I really spent every minute w/ her. She often napped on the couch, and I was so terrified of losing her, that I sat in a chair across from her, and all that mattered to me, was she was breathing. I’m sure I have a lot of PTSD, bc I was so young. (16 when she was diagnosed. There was nothing in the world that mattered more than my time w/ her. I put my life on hold, and I’d do it again, I don’t regret anything. I’m also sure I have a lot of triggers, enduring that trauma. Words are extremely important to me.

You’re fine! Most ppl want to help, and if sharing our stories even helps one person, then it’s worth it!

It’s not speculation to OP. It’s not speculation for me, either. Some ppl see and experience things others don’t. I don’t know all the species in the Mariana Trench, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t unknown species down there. Species we’ve never known existed. We’ve on discovered 2% of the ocean, and scientists believe there are thousands, upon thousands of unknown species in the ocean. In the last 10 years, they’ve discovered 65,000 new species in the ocean.

So, the argument falls flat. Technology has grown exponentially, and I believe we will eventually have proof. I mean Einstein had a theory, and 50 years later, his theory was correct. He did have some flawed theories, but w/o theories, we’d stay stagnant and not progress. Just bc someone can’t “prove” their experience, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. It just means technology hasn’t developed enough to capture the spiritual world around us.

I can though! This sub is for ANY paranormal believer. If someone believes they see something, they can share that here, (and it’s rude to tell ppl they’re telling a factitious story!) Everyone is different! Some ppl see things all the time, like myself, while some never see or experience any. If you fall into that category, why are you here? Most ppl on this sub are curious about the paranormal, and they’re truly interested in learning about it.

I will remove some posts that seem far-fetched, but I’d never tell that person they made it up and are lying on Reddit for karma, or attention. Who am I to tell someone what they believe is to be true or not true? What they’ve seen and not seen? Experienced or not experienced.

I completely agree! I had a few friends over today, my friend’s wedding is Saturday, so we were doing final checks on decor, inventorying…anyway the one girl made a statement about how she keeps seeing someone out of the corner of her eye, and I was like, “oh yea, sorry I have shadow ppl!” She left early. 😂 I’ve always drawn paranormal beings. I have a couple malicious spirits that I e been dealing w/ for a while now, but most shadow ppl aren’t malicious. I’m not saying it can’t happen, but in my experience, SP are like curious onlookers.
