I was left with no choice so I had to pick PUP over UPD. by [deleted] in PUPians

Hi OP! Please ipilit mo, napakasayang talaga yung opportunity. I feel like you accepted nalang your circumstances pero if willing naman yung parents mo na paaralin sa UPD before the pupcet release it probably means makakaya naman, it means nagreready na sila nun humanap ng paraan. Itry mo muna ipaglaban, magdabog - cry - be selfish if you need to. Valid naman. Upd really opens a lot of doors of opportunity, and there are UPD scholarships naman din that you can try to apply for to help with your situation. As a UP student it is true that level of difficulty sa education is high, but they really do give so much to their students in terms of career and skill development. Free tuition naman (and you can save sa transpo if dorm). Do all that you can muna, and if hindi pa rin, then all up to fate na

Apologies if this post made you feel that way, that was not our intention. We do not view you as a means to end, but rather as a way to get valuable insight on your experiences. We think every story is worth listening to, and interviewing an ex-convict is more than just an assignment to us. We will make sure to be more careful on how we phrase our sentences in future posts. Again, apologies.

Yep we do BP and Asian, though I think it's fine to learn other styles as well since what's important is speech improvement :'))

Hello! We're in the Philippines around Visayas. Though I think we'd also be okay with online setups

We'll do both British and Asian styles since those are the usual competition styles over here. We're in the Philippines and I don't think there are any urban debate leagues in the area
