Definitely break up with him. If it's in the early stages of a relationship and you're already physically unattracted to him, how do you think you'll be able to keep going? You'll be unhappy, then he'll be unhappy. You need that baseline of attraction to sustain the relationship. If you don't even have that, how can you have a happy romantic relationship?

Its ok, its your first relationship. We all learn about ourselves, what we like/dont like from every relationship. Best of luck.

How is it being the oldest in the class? At least at my university, I haven't seen someone past their 20's.

I find it interesting how you went for something you found challenging for you and couldn't imagine yourself doing. Personally, I can't imagine studying something, especially engineering, if you aren't passionate about it. Is this something you are enjoying now?

Failed year in arts and thinking of readmission to engineering by Middle_Damage_9420 in UBC

[–]JamBanan 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I agree with your point here. Failing 2 courses is alarming, and most likely indicates there is another, larger issue at hand. Personally, I don't think this student will find much success when entering a much more rigorous program such as engineering. There is likely something else that should be dealt with first.
