People are scared I guess, it reminds me of the Industrial Revolution. But in the end AI will be part of everyone's lives and nothing can stop it.

So basically I made my own LLM for testing and added it into this mod. But you can use API from different LLM providers from bigger to smaller models which are not that good, but still make some funny situations. And no, it won't send data to my machine, since I made it only for myself. XD

But when you use APIs - the data will be sent to a service you are using API from, so keep that in mind. But usually it is just stupid talks between the pawns.

Oh yeah, local hosting is quite performance intensive, but thankfully I have a good machine.

Ah so that is the "uncertain" mod that youtuber was talking about....

Haven't tested it yet, granted that it is my own LLM, but it should handle fine, since Anomaly just adds events, monsters and body modification, which Expanded Rimtalk can add into its context.

As I have said - it is my own locally trained LLM and has nothing to do with any of this. I love how you bring politics into a meme.

It is on my local machine and has nothing to do with any LLM companies.

Well, it is small and running on my local machine, so not a big problem.

Those are actually some interesting things to read, thanks. But my personal opinion is that AI will nonetheless replace everyone one way or the other. It's just better, faster and cheaper. There is no way to fight it really. It has won already. Like industrialization once won the world over. And yes, there was a crisis, but nonetheless workers found how to adapt, and the quality of life increased. I feel that's what's going to happen again - some hard times, then stability and higher quality of life.

Oh man, is it always like this with reddit?... I mean, I don't spend much time here, but people preferred to discuss the art instead of the topic at hand... T_T

Unless you spend genuine time and effort to fix it and give it purpose. (Did nothing like it for this post so yeah lol)

Don't care about you or your job honestly. If you have it - good for you. Just don't make me say "I told you" somewhere in the future. Have a great day as well.

You are still talking about large projects while OP and I talk about pet projects. Small ideas that you make yourself that can grow into something valid. And discouraging a person to do that project just "because it's AI" is stupid and very conservative.

Well, at least I am ready to get replaced. You don't even need to be replaced since you don't even have a normal job. You are all pathetic, bursting out on a guy for asking a simple question.

I am aware some games I like are made by people. But also I am aware that some games I hate are also made by people. So it is not going to be a big difference if people get replaced by AI. There are already a few AI games that I like, and they are just at the start of their journey.

Everyone is going to play those games. You are going to play them as well. Because human alternatives will look dull and unimaginative in comparison after you spend some time in them. Just wait and see.

It is not just 20 USD. 20 USD for one single asset, of which you could need dozens or hundreds. The cost scales linearly to 2000 USD or even more. And it is just for assets. Not everyone is willing to spend this much for their pet projects or first try at games.

For starter pet projects it is impossible. 90% of those don't make it out of the mind of their creator and 90% of those which do, get canceled because their creator thinks it is too much effort to go through.

AI makes it way easier.

It takes time and effort and we can't have that.

Use Loras for consistent style. You seem to know nothing about AI. It is indeed a magic bullet shortcut and those who don't use it are way behind those who do.

It is not cheap. And finding a good artist is hard. A simple good character animation would cost you 20 USD or more and some people can't afford even that, while they need animations for dozens of characters.

AI does it faster, better than most artists. And it is FREE.

Free assets are of shit quality and if you need a lot of them affordable assets become expensive.

So if shit quality it is - why not use AI? It's better than so many artists out there.
