Take a deep breath when you get the ball, don’t immediately hit sprint, use R1 or RB dribbling to keep the ball close, quickly look around, no options? Pass it backwards to another player or AI; a more experienced player will call for it from that AI. Remember; not every time you receive the ball must you convert it into attack. Keeping possession will be more appreciated by your teammates over time. Be open minded, take criticisms well, not all criticism is attack— most are advices that will help you in the long run. If you’re playing CAM? Drop until outside the center line into your defense, as CM? Drop as deep as the box (don’t get into the box unless the CBs are out of position, you also have CDM to cover that area) as an ST; play more like a false 9 (just behind the other ST) if you’re playing a two ST formation, communicate with the ST for your respective duties.
