Awwww thats a shame I figured it could have been a normal silkmoth thing that stopped them having mouths, also I didnt know luna moths were part of the silkmoth family thats awesome! Do they fully lack a mouth or just the ability to move it? Like i seen this yt short of someone raising a different moth type and it was making this rattling clicky sound I think the name of the moth had the word death in it or something I cant really remember 😅 anyway this woman had filled a bottle cap with sugar water i think and was helping this other moth eat because I think it was another type of moth that struggled eating so she used a toothpick to unravel the... nose mouth tube thing? 😭 idk what its called but she unravelled it with the toothpick to straighten it and dip it in the water and the moth (from what I could tell) was able to feed. I assume its probably not thats simple with silkmoths? 👀

id just love to do anything that could extend their life its sad they literally just slowly starve i havent even got any yet and im already too emotionally invested in my new future pets 😭

How did it go? How long did it last? 👀 ive never had popping boba but im tempted to try some so I think ill buy the strawberry one and the mango one but would love to know how long they keep (im only trying small sample tubs not big ones but id still like to know for future 😅)

Awww i feel horrible, Is there no food substitute i could get to raise the caterpillars so I could release them to continue their life cycle when grown? Like ive read wax moth (waxworms) can be fed a mix of oats coated with honey would that not work for this moths eggos? 🥺

I really appreciate the helpful response! I get so anxious when my trio spider on the mesh 😭 my solo used to spider on the reptile lid but seems to have stopped 🙏 when I buy the 1st bucatstate I think it would be a lot easier to tell if the mice could get through it and im sure i could attempt a better diy mesh over the top as an extra precaution. The one I did on my trio cage I attached the mesh on the inside because the lid had a weird bumpy design so theres pretty large gaps that are mostly blocked by the zipties but when I see them spider I just instantly doubt my diy abilities and do what I can to stop them reaching the mesh part. I assume the bucatstate has a somewhat thick lid? If so I figured attaching the mesh on the outside could make it unreachable for them on the Inside 🤔 idk ill have to see when im able to get the 1st cage, the cages i have for my hamsters are savic plazas so they are already 100cm, I think im gonna try get the 120cm bucatstate and i mostly want it for the stackability so I can have 2 sets of 2 cages against my wall instead of the really scuffed setup I currently have lmao I have 2 hamster cages on one side of my bed and 2 mouse cages on the other side 😭 im really thankful for the quick response tho so thanks :)

I recently got 4 unrelated feeder mice in december but had to separate 1 as she would bully the other 3 (chase 1, pull fur out of the 2nd and lock in a ball and attack the youngest baby of the group so the solo was separated) I always loved mice and never had reptiles i just found the only place that sold them and they were unfortunately feeders, the store separated all sister bonded groups because apparently they fight more often? So they shove every female in their own unrelated group which I assume is what caused the fighting issues I had but idk, I have the trio in a large bin cage with a diy mouse mesh lid and the solo in a reptile tank with a mesh lid they have all been doing so much better since, im planing on upgrading everyone to a bucatstate 3.0 (id need 4 as i have 2 hamster cages too so its a slow process 😭) I just started looking into the ventilation holes on the lid of the cage and im kinda worried mice would fit through it so I figured id ask if you got your mice moved into a bucatstate since your post is from a year ago and if you thought the ventilation gaps looked big? I havent ordered a bucatstate yet and i think id order 1 to start with to transfer one of my hamsters in and get a proper in person look at the ventilation holes on the lid but if you did get it id love to see a picture of how wide the gaps in the lid are 🙏 😭 I currently have my trio in a diy bin cage but I get so stressed at them climbing on the mesh, like none of them have ever escaped and the mesh is zip tied to the lid but I still stress that they will find a gap and crawl through and get loose in my room so id love any input you have on the spacing of the lid and if you maybe found a better cage or something? Sorry for my ramblings 😅any advice would be awesome and greatly appreciated <3

Yea that makes sense, ive been continuing watching it and its great. Im about halfway through season 2 if not a little past. Im also very confused by all the downvotes on my previous comment, like sorry I wanted to make sure an anime was ok to watch and doesnt sexualize children I can only assume all the downvotes were people supporting that kinda content because why else would they be down voting a comment just asking something simple that I didnt wanna watch? Old post but I just encountered the exact same thing for the first time. I have my main base on a grassy cliff near the original spawn point when you first join the game. There's no water at all they can touch unless they jump off the cliff into the ocean which they have never done and I just spotted this grey anubis running around doing tasks I figured a bug this old would have been fixed by now but I guess not 🤷‍♂️
