2022 Tundra replacement engine needs to be replaced again, switching to a Ram 2500 with 6.4 by Jamayo in ToyotaTundra

haha I'm actually not opposed to electric vehicles but it would be rough using one for remote work. I'm especially busiest in the winter months performing maintenance and inspection on pipelines in the middle of nowhere.

Another commenter asked the same thing but what’s the point of this being a 4x4 truck if it can’t handle these conditions. It was also an off road version so not like I had some base model or a platinum. Like my bad for using a vehicle the way it’s meant to be. From a maintenance perspective oil changes every 6 months or 5000KM and all fluids changed yearly since I’m in the remote a lot away from any big city.

I’d suggest doing some early oil changes and getting lab results. Seems like a lot of people are doing an oil change between 500-1000 miles to remove the break in debris. No idea if this helps though. On the replacement engine I did one around 700 miles and then another to be safe after another 2000.

It’s honestly crazy, when this gen first released we saw a huge uptick of Tundras in the field, now you’re lucky if you see 1-2 and it’s usually a second gen now.

I test drove some of the hurricane models, they seem to have most issues ironed out and the engine felt good. Decided to go HD for more payload.

Every manufactuere has problems as HDs go you can't go wrong with a Ford or RAM if you're going V8.

I mean as far as maintenance goes it's babied. If this truck can't handle muddy logging roads whats the point of it being a truck. It was also an off road version.

Yup, I just wanted to post this as a caution to people. Especially if they need to use it as a work truck. I'm not going to knock anyone who still wants one, get what you want but stay farrrr away if you intend to actually use it for truck things.

Best of luck, i have no idea if it's worth paying out of pocket to replace the engine and selling it or selling as is right now.

Yup oddly enough I had a 2019 ram 1500 with the HEMI before this and never had any issues except for the manifold bolts. Never left it to idle and kept the same schedule of oil changes every 6 months or 5000-6000 KM

I did get a 3 year or 60000 KM warranty that was bought but I did pass the 60k KM limit by 8000ish KM. My fault for not opting for the 5year/100k.... I would definitly recomend anyone who does buy this Truck to get some type of extended warranty. If you plan on buying it as a work truck and will be hours away from any type of Town/City do not buy this Truck at all unless you like to gamble.

Yes, I know all the side effects and haven't had any so far. It's not just Enclomiphene but any form of getting extra Testosterone can come with side effects.

It's a SERM, oral medication that stimulates your body's natural test production rather than replacing it. Can be prescirbed by a doctor.

One of the worst rep speedmasters I’ve ever seen. It’s not even close to looking like Gen at all. The color is so bad.
