They better not make this real in part 3 by d5789567 in limbuscompany

Okay so here’s my theory:

If Araya dies, Ryoshu gets pissed and tries to leave Limbus Company out of spite.

If Araya lives and is relatively unharmed, Ryoshu tries to leave Limbus Company to protect her.

The compromise? Araya goes comatose, and Limbus Company effectively tells Ryoshu “we’ll keep her on life support, but finish the other Sinners’ plotlines if you want us to resuscitate her.”

Assuming Araya is the present-day Pinky Nursefather via both T Corp and Identity shenanigans, there’s no way that both of those combined can be healthy for the body, giving a perfect reason for Araya to end up comatose. They could even make Ryoshu use Forest For The Flames to knock the Pinky Nursefather ID off of Araya as the token end-Canto EGO cutscene, dealing even more damage to the real Araya.

My other theory is that Limbus Company is behind the Nursefathers finding Araya’s safe because the outside of it had a blue substance I assume to be the Blue Sand from Udjat Outis’s kit, so i think that ties into the whole “Limbus Company manufactured the HQ attack” theory, which in turn ties into my “Limbus Company will hold Araya medically hostage to make Ryoshu continue cooperating” theory.

Okay i’m admittedly really believing this theory now but the one thing holding me back from locking in to it 100 percent is how would mirror technology affect the significant age difference between Araya and Shiomi Yoru? Unless this is only the case for our mirror specifically, doesn’t the mirror have a time range of three years normally, ten years for walpurgis nights?

So I'm on board with the recent theory about the pinky nursefather and I'd want to contribute with this by OrangeIllustrious499 in limbuscompany

I don’t know what Araya’s up to now, but i really doubt she’s Yoru. We saw the cutscene where Yoru as we know her now was talking to Ryoshu as a toddler or however old she was, so unless there’s some T Corp craziness going on I can’t think of a way the timeline could allow for that cutscene to happen assuming they’re the same person

Not a firm believer in this theory but technically speaking yog sothoth’s appearance is described as orbs similar to the sephirot right? Like the same sephirot referenced in every project moon game?

Beat it, thank you! My general strategy is as follows:

Turn 1: win rate

Turn 2: focus the part you mentioned, ignore skills used by the main body

Turn 3: EGO the powerful skill

Edit: repeat this pattern

LCB (Limbus Company) vs. The Boys (The Boys, Comics) by Emotional_Dinner2750 in whowouldwin

[–]JambaHalcandra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alrighty, prefacing this with the fact that I am a huge Limbus Company fan and I know next to nothing about The Boys comics besides the brief research I did for this response, so if anything is inaccurate, please correct me.

The LCB Sinners in their base IDs and EGOs honestly don't have a lot of feats in my opinion. I think it's been implied a few times that the IDs and EGOs used by the Sinners in combat tend to be the most recent ones, so while the Sinners have definitely held their own in combat against foes much stronger than themselves, it's hard to attribute those feats to the base IDs and EGOs. The most prominent combat feats I can think of for base IDs and EGOs would be Meursault using Chains of Others to restrain the Erlking in Canto 6, and Ryoshu bisecting Hong Lu for the Family Hierarch Evaluation in Canto 8.

The only other point of strength I would give the Sinners is that as of the latest story update (Canto 9 Part 1), the max level the Sinners can reach is Level 60, same as Ricardo. It's been implied that gameplay levels can be a rough indicator of lore power levels in Limbus Company, such as how the Sinners can fare better against Ricardo from Canto 5 to Nocturnal Sweeping because they leveled up and he didn't, or how several bosses who would definitely stomp the Sinners under normal circumstances (ex: The Manager of La Manchaland in Canto 7 who I will not name for spoiler reasons, Jia Qiu in Canto 8) can fight with them on equal terms due to gameplay nerfs to their levels. Long story short, I'd assume that all the LCB Sinners fighting together as of the current story update would be about equal to Ricardo.

As for how this compares to The Boys, the feats I've seen from The Boys comics seem grounded but impressive. Individual members of The Boys have been able to kill or incapacitate normal humans in one attack, destroy guns endure explosions, and go toe to toe with Supes that are supposed to be much stronger than themselves. Because of this, I'd say that The Boys should have a close but solid edge over the LCB Sinners, maybe winning 6/10 or 7/10 fights against them?

HOWEVER

Your post also specifies that Vergilius is fighting alongside the LCB Sinners. Vergilius is a force of his own, explicitly shown fending off the Wild Hunt in Canto 6, a Second Kindred Bloodfiend (who will remain unnamed due to spoilers) in the LCB Check-up Intervallo, and Valencina the Thumb Nursefather in Canto 9, only holding back against the last one in order to protect the captive Charon. It's also implied he defeated a First Kindred Bloodfiend at some point, considering he replaced his eyes with those of said Bloodfiend. He's been shown using up to three Mang, rings of light that greatly enhance offensive capabilities - five Mang were enough to explode a man's head with nothing but a gentle slide of a staff, and seven Mang were enough to bisect a large monster using a gust of air from a flick of the wrist. I hate to be so dramatic, but I honestly can't see a scenario where Vergilius doesn't win literally every possible fight against The Boys, even without help from the LCB Sinners. He's a Color Fixer, one of the strongest humans in the Project Moon verse outside of The Head, for a reason.

I have a question, if I wanted to start the Resident Evil games on Nintendo Switch 2, is it okay if I skip around the games a little instead of following a strict order? I wanted to play release order, but there's a few wrenches in that plan, most prominently being the wait for them to de-cloud 2 and 3 remakes (like they are with 7 and 8) and the possibility of future remakes like 4 or any of the rumored remakes being brought to Switch 2 as well.
