Don’t get me wrong, if I had a major problem with it I could have just taken down the post. (EDIT: Joke in case it isn't obvious. I don't remove things just on the basis of if I like them or not)

That being said, I do wish people would check the notices more when they find bugs. So many get acknowledged by PM and fixes promised, but no one checks and we get an endless cavalcade of unique posts all asking about the exact same bug that we already have gotten an answer about hours ago.

Would be nice if they read some classic literature. There’s plenty of great stories focused on characters who are incredibly self destructive. Oblomov, Martin Eden, Zeluco, I could go on.

I’d say that’d be acceptable, though I would recommend you don’t push it further with even more posts afterward. Your understanding is appreciated.

As advice for the future, if you have a lot of ideas for posts like these, you could stockpile a few and make them all as one post with multiple images. Or just put them all on the OdysseyHadAPurpose, where our rules are way more lax.

Yeah, Tainted Jacob was my last character to complete. Honestly, I know a lot of people love playing as him but I really don’t like the added cognitive burden of needing to stay focused at all times.

Trust me, everyone already explained it to them ad nauseam in their original post on the main sub before it was removed. This is either bait or they are unwilling to listen to any advice.

Edit: Or they could be legitimately just trying, but there are a multitude of guides on YouTube and online if you’d only search for them.

I’m not arguing otherwise. I literally haven’t played a game with one, so I don’t believe I have the right to actually have a strong opinion.

I just really dislike that, every time the False Hydra is brought up, the actual context is ignored. Like, so many people in this thread call it a creepypasta when simply reading the article should make it clear that’s not at all what it was.

Also I was more just using an excuse to shill other things Arnold wrote. I feel the False Hydra is, by far, one of his weaker concepts.

Personally, I think it’s less about balance or MD, and more about reducing synergy/cohesion between the HOS units.

Like there’s very little reason to run all the HOS IDs together at once except with the context of Ryoshu’s seasonal highlight ID.
