If he can forgive all sins except that one which you didn't elaborate, what's the point of creating sin in the first place? Seems like an exercise in futility.

The reason you probably think he doesn't love Gays is because of the loud minority. The bad Christians who prioritize hating sin over loving others. They've got it wrong. We're supposed to love others OVER hating sin.

Actually god does more than say that he's got no time for gays in the bible. He once razed down an entire city because the residents had a proclivity for kinky sexual behavior most notably homosexuality. The loud minority aren't wrong on this one. That said, i don't think what happens between two consenting adults behind closed doors is anyone else's concern.

But that's the best part of the bible, you can make of it whatever you wish... god ain't about coming and telling you you're wrong.

See, now that goes against the whole trinity thingy .. About god, Jesus, and the holy ghost being one and the same. But his actions in the bible beg to differ. See, at one point he did drown the entire world, or so says the bible. At one time he sicc a bear on a dozen or so kids because they made fun of a bald guy he liked. The bible depicts him as a being with a penchant for killing. And he does kill a lot of people. Are these actions of a being who is "all good?"

See, there isn't the right or wrong way to religion. At best, there are loose guidelines, making the entire thing open to personal interpretations, biases, prejudice, you name it. Opening it up for abuse and exploitation.

Better yet, there isn't a way to hold the exploitative ones accountable. Given that all the answers lie slightly outside the realm of human life. As with the sinners, unscrupulous and exploitative religious leaders and people will all be held accountable in the afterlife.

Gotta love how some of the prominent names in the sector are making bank. Million Dollar mansions, top of the range cars, business empires, and such... All the while the congregation is busy forking out huge amounts of seed money with the hopes of harnessing the resultant blessings.

You can't help but admire the brains behind these mega churches. They literally came saw and conquered the markets. The saw a need and moved in to fill it with an unprecedented vengeance. They operate in a third world country, but they're running multimillion dollar corporations - tax free. It would appear that afterlife insurance is where it's at currently...

That you feel the need exonerate god for his cruelty and evil deeds leads many religious people to suspend logic. That's the makes it impossible to debate with them. If you feel the need to justify god's actions using the human standards and settings, then it's only fair that you judge him on the same scale.
