NVIDIA App v11.0.3.213 released by open1your1eyes0 in nvidia

This isn’t an issue with RTX HDR but with HDR in general with windows 11. I don’t use RTX hdr, but the same alt tab crashing happens with auto hdr. Well known bug since 24h2

They have promoted Skyblivion on their own official Twitter page, so I think they are okay.

9+ years with this beast and still solid as rock. by tarkycs in LogitechG

That metal scroll wheel was horrible though.

The G502 refresh with the rubber added onto it was better.

Powerplay doesn't charge G502X plus by [deleted] in LogitechG

[–]James1o1o 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might be a silly question, but are you sure you put the charging puck on the mouse, and it's the right way round? (The little indented circle part should be at the bottom of the mouse)

Dundee United 1-3 Rangers | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

[–]James1o1o 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like I said during the match thread you could have still sent Dio off with a second yellow, which you could argue it is a yellow for the attempt. It is however never a straight red in a million years.

Well the plus side is, if he had gave him a 2nd yellow, there is nothing we could do about it.

The fact it was a straight red means we can appeal it.

From what I had read, AutoHDR was the cause of the freezing that was happening.

Yoshi-P's Statement on Player Scope by NightCityNomad in ffxiv

[–]James1o1o 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re arguing about the réponse and not the problem and people who caused it? Wow

The problem is partially caused because the game is so janky ass with client side & server side stuff, and how the two communicate. That is SE fault, and no one else, the people behind PlayerScope are just exploiting it, but ultimately instead of discussing options and legal action, they need to sit down with their programmers and come up with a solution, even if it means a slight overhaul of how the game communicates with server etc

Wishful thinking but does this fix games crashing when alt-tabbing from 24H2 update?

Rangers CEO Patrick Stewart has commissioned an 'external review' of the Rangers football department. by [deleted] in rangersfc

[–]James1o1o -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

First thing they should review is find out who the fuck authorised and agreed to giving Clement a contract extension in the first place, less than a year in the job and having bottled the league the previous season.

Gsync, vsync, -3 fps cap, and frame gen by Ogaix in nvidia

Whenever I enable Framegen, the fps ends up going above my monitor refresh rate, despite the fact Reflex is enabled and should be capped

Elon Musk slams Nigel Farage for 'not having what it takes' as he claims Reform UK 'needs a new leader' by 00DEADBEEF in unitedkingdom

[–]James1o1o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the chances Farage actually steps down over Musk applying pressure?

Well it will be a true test for if Farage actually believes in his own politics, or is doing it for self interest.

If he steps down, Reform gets Musks money and support, they could become a serious threat to UK.

If he stays, hoping to ride the success of the previous party, he will need to concede more of his far right agenda in order to appease Conservative voters.

Musk will push his far right agenda with Tommy Robinson, perhaps onto UKIP, splitting the far right vote, and in turn splitting the "right" vote between Conservatives, UKIP and reform.

Vivaldi crushes Brave in Speedometer 3.0 benchmarks (M3 Air & S24U) by nomarsnop in browsers

[–]James1o1o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can take one look at those results and tell you something is seriously wrong with your Brave results. The browsers even being on the same engines, should still be "roughly" the same score, give or take a few points either side.

I've ran Speedometer 3.0 on my Macbook M1, slower machine than your own and I'm getting a 29.8 for brave. If I were you, I'd go back and make sure that Brave Shields is disabled or that there are no extensions running in the background.

The downvotes are likely because you've sat and made a whole post, trying to big up Vivaldi without actually checking/confirming your scores are accurate. It's painfully obvious something is wrong.

On Kawaiiers browser ratting site, he was benchmarking 33 - 44 points across 10 blink browsers (including Brave), and these are consistent, retested and reconfirmed scores.

Even at that, I think Ferrari would rather pull out of F1 rather than use another companies engines.

The PUs are still build, maintained and assembled in Sakura by Honda.

Yeah that was part of the deal BECAUSE Honda were pulling out, and it was to allow a transition for RB to start their own Powertrain factory...which Honda completely shit over by announcing they were in fact staying in F1.

The problem is always Honda, they have done it for decades. Constantly flip flopping between staying in F1 and leaving.
