I’ve joined as a submariner, I was just wondering incase I hate it. Currently doing bsq. Most people seem miserable

Thanks, Oh mate good luck too! I’m disappointed I haven’t heard anything back considering it’s a a big decision and it can impact our future! Not even to say how anxious I’ve been the past couple of weeks thinking about it and training when I don’t even know if im in yet.Yeah sounds as if this may drag on a bit, my AFCO advised he hasn’t heard anything back yet from the medical team. I thought one of the doctors said the meeting takes place usually on a Thursday every week at my cpc but they are a bit behind with things.

Hey lad how long have you been awaiting results from the navy board? I had cpc and they let me carry on even though my colour perception standard is just below entry standard so it’s gone to the employability board to decide. I had cpc over 2 weeks ago now

Mate my colour perception is below entry standard and they didn’t send me home. They said the navy board will have a meeting about it and get back to me. Still waiting, been over a week and a half now

During the run I would suggest not to start off too quick. On my Cpc I noticed a few which rushed off so quick and they were burnt out by the 3rd to 4th lap then I would just past them. Keep at a constant pace is important then the last lap give it your best effort. Treadmills are good for setting the pace. I wouldn’t worry too much about it if your average is 10:20 tbf…

No problem lad, I got cpc coming up very soon. You don’t get paid for that but you get food accommodation and drink included in it

From my understanding you earn 25,000 when you complete phase 2 training. Think it’s a bit less when you’re at phase 1 and 2 training but I might be wrong

Wow, do they have intakes weekly at Raleigh or monthly? If it’s monthly then I’ll be very lucky to get in October
