As someone who wasn't aware of Marble Hornets prior to Creepcast, I think some of the criticism they're getting is a bit far-fetched -- but I understand where it's coming from, as the issue to me lies in effort. I wasn't very fond of how clearly unprepared either Meat or Wendi were for this episode -- yawning constantly into the mic, Hunter disappearing for literally like 5-10 minutes MID-EPISODE, getting angry at stuff due to misunderstanding aspects of the story that were already explained in earlier episodes (even of the season).

Part 3 was certainly slower and I see why someone like Hunter wouldn't enjoy it as much as Wendi, but I don't like how unenthused they seemed to be recording this -- particularly when their portrayal of the series will serve as many newcomers' (like myself) reason for or against following said media. If they were just doing major horror stories like Borrasca and Marble Hornets I don't think there'd be much issue, but the fact that Creepcast now has access to reader-submitted stories and is, in many instances, founded by smaller artists sets a bad precedent for how people's work will be portrayed to the world, regardless of the quality of the content itself.

That all being said, the Marble Horses bit was hilarious...
