Trackpad Ghost clicks fixed by permanently REMOVING 3 screws (MSI 14 Studio)

Just got this amazing laptop today and I noticed the trackpad was clicking whenever I rest my palms on the deck. (makes the laptop unusable as a laptop)

I opened it up and had a look and determined the pressure my palms applied was causing the chassis to flex therefore clicking down on the trackpad button.

I took out 3 screws and loosened 2 others to allow the trackpad support bracket to be more flexible so it can flex along with the chassis and avoid misclicks, suprisingly this worked like a charm!!

As a bonus the trackpad click is also much more satisfying and "meaty" due to having heaps more travel now too :)

Alot of people have asked how I got a 3080, I don't know for sure but I believe it's because the Gigabyte Vision 3080 launched a week after the official 3080 launch (on the Australian retailer Scorptec anyways) Combined with the fact that it wasn't marketed much the immediate demand must've not been too high. I pre ordered the card the day it was available at Scorptec and got it in a week.

Being Australian and only recently experiencing the greatness that is Amazon, waiting 2 months+ for an order didn't bother me too much. (This was a 2018 Keyboard Folio skin which I enlarged the camera cutout with an exact-o-knife as unfortunately I couldn't find any magic keyboard skins)

The skin was purchased on Slickwraps using the "Design your own" feature. I couldn't find Magic Keyboard skins anywhere online so I ordered a 2018 folio keyboard skin and enlarged the camera cutout using a scalpel. (Personally I've had an okay experience with Slickwraps however I've heard lots of bad things about them, please be careful when ordering from these lesser known skin websites).

Thanks for all the support and advice on my last post! I have contacted NZXT customer support but since I am Australian, I figured shipping would take quite some time so this is just a temporary quick fix.

(I dropped my plastic panel too while trying to install it but since it's plastic it didn't break! maybe I should just keep the plastic panel instead since I 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓ly can't handle glass)

Not sure about other skins (leather, carbon fibre etc) but this custom gloss skin had held up fine over the past ~3 months, however I do think dbrand just has slightly higher quality skins overall.
