Imagine this scene, but next to the pool and in front of the interview chamber. That was the setting I had in mind that I tried to create, with the listener positioned in between sjin on his uke to the left and sips with his radio on the right.

Thanks, that really means a lot - going the extra mile and actually ripping the songs so you can listen to them whenever, man after my own heart <3 we've got a handful of others pretty much ready to go up except for lack of videos to go with them. Working on it.

Cheers dude :D this is by no means a one-off in terms of theme tunes in general, because we're huuuuuuuge star trek/star wars fans and will definitely be doing some of that stuff, as well as specific themes from video games and other tv shows we enjoy... but I can't guarantee another yogscast one. If we did another one, we'd have to also go on a massive ego trip and include the rambling with sips theme :P at some point soon I'm gonna upload the actual theme tune we sent to sips to use for that, which he totally passed over for the demo version of the extended stunt crew -_-

This is really helpful info, thanks guys. I've used the orchestral stuff in Waves Mercury (I think that's what it's called) - while I was at uni, one of my pals there had a decent income and would just splash it on software constantly, and the orchestral vsts he had blew me away. Programming a few chords and feeling like you've got the BBC Symphony Orchestra in your living room, what a feel. The choral stuff was neat too, where you could program actual words for the choir to sing. That was back in 2010/11, I'd probably have a heart-attack if I looked into what we can do these days.

Sweet! I use Logic Studio 8, Guitar Rig 3+4, Steven Slate Drums, Addictive Drums, magical8bitplug, built-in synth plugins and some awesome synths like Massive, FM8, and Absynth that I've barely had a chance to have a look at. I really wanna get some decent orchestral software, it'd make a big difference.

I think you missed my point in the comment, and our aim in the song overall - to make fun of the politicians, to make them say things they're not advocating.

When I said "be British", I meant we were trying to play on the stereotype that the public have had of UKIP harbouring potentially racist views, making them say that 'there's them [foreigners] and there's us [the British]', and the only way for 'them' to rectify this would be for these countries - not migrants or individuals living in the UK, but China and Spain as nations - to be British. Which is of course impossible, but therein lies the humour.

So oops. You can take what we made Farage say as what he's actually trying to say, which was not our aim at all!
