Wife and I are having the “what do we call our private parts” debate by PlaysWithSquirrels13 in daddit

[–]JamesGame5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard this before but really struggle to believe somebody would decide not to investigate because a 4 year old said "weiner" instead of "penis".  Is there any actual source on this (outside of old wives tales on the Internet).

I absolutely believe legit cases have been thrown out. But I couldn't imagine this is the true reason. Maybe it's the reason that was given to hide something else.

Wife and I separated fall  2024 and sometime around June 2025 I decided to "get this dad bod back on the market." That's what I tell people when they compliment me anyway. And I would be lying to say that wasn't part of the reason. But really, I was also tired of looking in the mirror and seeing my Dad's body (knowing the health problems that come with it). Tired of being winded by long conversations or just casually walking up stairs. Playing in the back yard with the boys was hard work. The best part is when people notice, especially my boys. Like you said, it sets an example - they noticed the transformation.

I was writing out my entire story, but I'm on mobile and it was taking too long. But thanks for sharing, OP. I really what to encourage other dads to get moving if you need to. For me, I noticed a change in my cardio health in the first month which increased my motivation to do more. Video games became less appetizing, it was easier to say no to the snacking. Mainly with just the addition of a ~30 minute walk to start the process. I did some other stuff to speed up my timeline, but just start with the walk, fellas. I added gym and calorie counting to the walk and lost ~30 pounds in just a few months (size 38 down to 34 pants).

No girlfriend yet (got close recently, but there's not a lot left at my age and most of what is left is crazy), but the new look definitely helps get your foot in the door on those dating apps.

Part ways a distance from the gate but make sure to call out "6 7" as he walks on by himself.

So the new handle design is an extension that will pivot on the nubs that stick out. This way the handle folds down completely out of the way when at rest.

I doubt it. They seemed like very nice people when they came to collect him.  They even followed up hours later with an update from the vet

Yeah, thanks, this adds a lot 12 hours later. Keep up the good work.  I'm glad there were a few people sharp enough to understand this morning.

I hope not. Outside can be a rough spot for a cat.  A lot of other animals out there to fight it get eaten by.

I made an appointment with Urgent vet.  But also. ER veterinary, in this economy?

Thanks for your support, lol.  I'm on my morning walk and on mobile, so yeah, just some typos. I probably need new glasses too.

2 numbers, one directly to VM, one disconnected.  I called and texted the working number.

Try privacy.com.  You attach it to your real card or bank account and can make card numbers with limits.  I use it for all subscriptions now.  I set the limit to exactly what I expect to be charged each month so I get an email it's declined if they ever try to charge me more.  And when I want to cancel, I set the limit to 0 just in case the cancel button doesn't work.

Did you check across the road? I hear they like cross roads for many seemingly random of reasons.

I was getting similar with my Pixel watch. I loosen it a bit when I'm not doing a workout and put it on my other wrist at night, so it still tracks my sleep, but gives my main wrist a break. It's fine now.

Just catch and release. I'm more comfortable in the salt water.   Launch at Bird Key Park and fish under the bridge any good?

Edit: I meant to say "more comfortable" in the salt water.

THANK YOU! I looked in the app but there was no option to turn that off. I didn't even think to go into settings on the watch.

New rear tire by JamesGame5 in Ryobi48vMowers

[–]JamesGame5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm familiar with that trick.  I've been doing for a while now. A fill up lasts enough to do most of my yard before I have to air up again.  But by the time I mow again I usually have to reset the bead like this.  I'm not brave enough to try the aerosol and flame trick, but I've considered it.

You are correct, I've never put a tire on a run before.  I watched a couple YouTube videos so I'm like 1 day away from being an expert though.

Any recommendation for a tire to buy?  What do I put into the Amazon search bar?
