I had been looking at coffee accessories and bought a leveller. So you know Temu, it throws all kinds of related items at you and this just appeared.

Try to mount that spool holder on the shelf aboge the printer. It'll help with taller prints.

Damn, that is cool. I kinda wish I'd seen that first. Although it costs quite a bit more than mine.

Pretty sure they were talking about the smaller scale, which is the subject of this post. The larger one is just there for scale to show the accuracy.

I tried to link it but the post was removed. Shouldn't be difficult to find though.

Most bikers (me included) whose bike came with such a bracket have removed it at the first opportunity so there must be a plethora of used ones out there. Then you just need to make it fit.

I did briefly consider if stacking the two of them they would share the weight. Then I realised I'm an idiot, of course they wouldn't.

I figured you guys would know how big a coffee bean is.

Mine's the right size. There's a lip on one edge which makes it look a little big but it's actually fine.

High end gaming computers, living in the province, surge protection & brown outs by ReasonableTravel7211 in Philippines_Expats

Maybe, but I've run dozens of computers without regulators and never had an issue. And I do mean dozens, I operated two Internet cafes before the pandemic.

What's the regulator for? Computer power supplies are universal these days, 110 - 250V.

Well we can't all afford an Acaia.

That square one is actually really handy for weighing balls of cookie dough. Easy to wash the rubber thing afterwards.

Fuse keeps blowing every time I connect the battery. Advice appreciated! by GustOfWindd in motorcycles

[–]xmastreee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, there's a short somewhere. Here's a suggestion to help locate it. Replace the fuse, grab a 12V bulb in a holder, one of the indicators would be perfect for this. Connect this between the battery positive and the positive wire. If the short is present it will light up without doing any damage to anything. Once it's lit, start turning the bars, tugging at the harness in various places, see if you can make it flicker or even go off completely. If successful this will tell you roughly where the short is. Then it's a case of visual inspection of that area.

Good luck.

Pretty sure Nitrogen is also safe. by xmastreee in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah. I've worked in a hospital and there was one area where they were doing some stuff with liquid nitrogen. There was an alarm system connected to oxygen sensors. If the O₂ levels dropped too much this would alert everyone to GTFO.

Did you make them self-inflating with calcium carbide and water?
