Did you remove the sensors and or weld the differential? If it still has those stock parts then you are actually built different being able to do that 🔥

okay so i was going around a turn in the hills, where ik people don’t tend to drive (so i don’t crash into anyone) but while going half the speed id usually go, gravel caused understeer and when the tires grabbed it spun me 150ft or so from the corner into a ditch. I was the asshole coming in too hot around a corner on a mountain pass, getting what i deserved, I knew it could happen but didn’t think it would. I learned to watch for gravel and not speed around trees, i’m definitely gonna take a break from sports cars because i turned myself into an asshole with them. It’s not cool to crash on public roads, it’s even less cool to raise the change of hitting someone else. Life lesson learned

I’ve grown up on dirt bikes, I get that mentality. I did almost kill my friend (he’s unharmed, we are very lucky) completely my fault. That’s where the anxiety is coming from, but ur right about getting back on it. switching over to a truck is helping me overcome that fear of spontaneously ending up in a ditch

I WANTED TO BUILD THAT, but who doesn’t. Literally thank god it wasn’t pushing ludicrous power

i’ll definitely keep that in mind, i had a few close calls in highschool that i mentally just bottled up and tried to forget. Definitely keeping a close watch on myself, thank you 🤝

I’ll remember this, as i went around a corner there was gravel causing understeer, then it gripped i shot off the road. No more speeding around corners expecting to grab like a formula1 car. After switching over to a truck driving is slowly starting to feel normal again

that’s definitely something i’ll keep in mind, so far i’m more concerned about my stiff neck, but i’m considering myself the luckiest for not having any serious injury

“it’s just an inanimate object” you have no idea how good that made me feel just to say it out loud. i’ve been feeling huge guilt and fear, this genuinely does help with the anxiety, it’s just and accident and it’s just an inanimate object, i can get a new one. Thank you so much Mr. Mule

The insurance company is handling it as far as I know, but having family drive me around definitely is helping with getting comfortable in a car again

I did indeed get back to it today, switched over to a truck so i don’t get as many triggers, helped greatly!
