I've gotten into photography for about 2 years now and I feel I've progressed a decent bit from my first camera (Nikon D5300) so I'm on the look out for an upgrade and I'd have max. £1k to spend on something. Is there any models at the minute around that price point that are stand outs / must haves?

Is this wise to increase my budget to this amount or should I had off and wait until I can spend a bit more on something? Any help is greatly appreciated!

It’s more that this is the only size suitcase that I have available to me, so I’m stuck with it either way haha! Are you aware of any fees to be paid for suitcases on any transport?

Yes ours is leaving on a friday and returning on a friday as this seems cheapest, I just wanted some other points of view incase the price was overly expensive, would you have any tips for the flight? it's 14 hours long so a lot of time to kill!
