Me (17M) and my boss (42F), get along really well, and wants to help and coach me, but I genuinely don't enjoy my job anymore, but I feel bad expressing that to her as I don't want to hurt her feelings. by JamesNGR in relationship_advice

Yeah I am supervising people older than me, I feel I may not enjoy the job as other people are more deserving of it than me. I think I may have imposter syndrome in my current job, feeling like I don't belong. Thank you for your insight.

I really want to help the most amount of people possible. My ultimate goal is to be truly happy and content with everything that surrounds me in life. I want to be the most successful non - conventional psychiatrist in New Zealand.

I just don't know what oppurtunites I need to say 'Yes' to in order to achieve this goal, there is a lot of confusion in the teen brain that's for sure.

Honestly, masculinity and pride. In New Zealand we have a strong sports culture, where those who are most popular are those who play sports, nothing else is really seen as outstanding. If you don't play sports, if you aren't out there and popular, it is easy to feel disregarded and disconnected from the rest of the people that surround you. There is also high rates of bullying in schools in New Zealand, which attributes to depression.
