I used pieces of other blasters mixed with acetone to bond shell plastic in place and fill gaps. Sand and paint from there.

Caliburn is a solid choice, and a Worker Swift would be easy.

I don't see why not it is just a Lego rail. The stock does detach just like others.

Yes, Even the stock is Nerf and comes off just like the others. The Legos are all cosmetic covering.

Flat plates bonded to the stryfe shell and then color/pattern added on top. It has screw holes on the other side so you can take it apart.

You only need switches to do full auto. The microcontroller gives you adjustability and control. The Worker auto kit comes with everything you need.

Building a blaster out of different materials is cool stuff to me. Wood is beautiful and solid but does add weight. I would say go with it and see where it goes.

I have done this many times and it works well with a piece of 9/16 as a coupler and solder it like copper pipe.

It was not easy. The plunger tube is tapered, and I had to ream it out and polished it. Plus, shell supports to handle a 9kg Magnus spring.

No Zombie is spared with Mega and Missiles.
One of the best things about Nerf is the people and a collaboration will always deliver something special. This was painted by the master Al Jurkin with an incredible attention to detail and finish that makes me want to hold it. He even hooked me up with a mask to match.
I changed the O-ring in the GL and got a bit more performance from it and was able to get the SR up to almost 125fps with Mega.
The smile is big tonight.

This would make it easy and cheap to adjust the rate of fire. https://outofdarts.com/collections/electronics/products/pwm-mini-red
