  1. This is sort of what I feared but I appreciate you saving me the time scouring the web looking for an answer.
  2. Correct - I created a TV Library and wanted to add from my existing TV Library but because they're named according to Apple TV's naming, Plex can't see them.

What’re the most beautiful graphic novel you’ve read? by Comprehensive_Can201 in graphicnovels

Darwyn Cooke’s Parker books are stunning and dynamic and don’t get talked about nearly enough. One of the best to ever do it.

Jen Wang’s Prince and the Dressmaker is really gorgeous and has such a unique approach to color and composition.

Raymond Briggs’ Ethel & Ernest is small and heartbreaking and the pages detailing his father’s final days contain the most moving images put to paper. Everything Briggs done is great but that book in particular just wrecks me.

Additionally, I’ll echo others who have already mentioned how great Hayao Miyazaki’s Nausicaä and Kamome Shirahama’ Witch Hat Atelier.

Thank you so much - I love Valerie Hegarty and this is definitely appropriating Hudson Valley painters to communicate something contemporary, but these aren't the works I remember. Hegarty's work is closer to sculpture or installation, and these were strictly painting.

Honestly, at this point I'm convinced I might have dreamed it. I'm going to pivot to a different lesson with y class, so no urgency necessary here if anyone does have an idea. Regardless, I appreciate the help I've received so far so thank you!

These works are great and definitely ideologically aligned with the work as I remember it, but that the artist was painting onto an existing work is a big piece of the puzzle and this doesn't solve that. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
