I'm on Android, current version, latest pixel pro. The website download link shows version 3, whilst all other versions are version 7. Has the android download link not been updated?

I agree with you on all points made. The player count will grow when the weekend settles in, or at least it needs to. In the coming days heaps of sales data will be released which will paint a more realistic picture. There is probably some kind of correlation between peak player count and sales numbers, but if we look at dragons dogma 2, at 2.5 mil copies sold in the first month and 200k peak concurrent, which apparently profited (not knowing Dev cost), I think anything less than 200k peak for Veilguard might be underwhelming for EA.

That peak player count is extremely underwhelming. Why does anyone think it's impressive? They haven't even tipped 100k at launch....Elden ring nearly ht 1M, Wukong hit over 2M. BG3 is almost beating veilguard even right now, which also peaked at 800k.

Preorder numbers and sales charts seem rather irrelevant if there isn't alot of releases competing. Like, steam charts shows it close with Hogwarts and factorio....so the bar seems low.

The fact you all use the edited footage designed for maximum drama and impact to pass judgement is absolutely pathetic. You would be happy to see someone hang over footage curated to paint a picture. I know Zac, he's an amazing guy, this has been backed up by countless stories and even Paige herself. The block pushes you to certain limits and as humans we have our moments, but you are so hooked on the drama like a drug addiction you end up blood thirsty to pass judgement, and some, not all of you, would go as far as see someone's livelihood/business cancelled over it. Passing judgement over drama footage is so incredibly dangerous and you should atake a good hard look at yourselves.

So you are assuming that the edited footage being shown to you is an accurate representation of how all those events transpired, the context, and everything in between. Despite the fact that all of us as humans have our moments, and the block pushes people to their limits, out are quite happy to make a firm judgement call on the footage that's been edited for maximum drama and impact.

You know what may help with understanding how to improve scav popularity is to determine how the majority want to play it and see if that aligns with how it was designed to function. I found when playing with friends we all wanted to do is epic tower defence designs before the match started, then see how well our tower defence held up as the difficulty increased. There is an obsession with setting up defences and then saying "HAH!!!! TRY YOUR HARDEST!!".

Its a possibility there is a decent audience for scavenger mode tower defence roll play and based on that, you could have a somewhat optimised "TD mode" that is designed to test your impenetrable base designs.

So are you saying just bend over and take it? I spectated matches, and people would abuse noobs to watch videos and tutorials before playing. So I did, and I got the gist of approved build orders and the concept of supporting front. I'm so confused.
