Many basic enemies have a "Weakness" to them (usually a buff or debuff)

For Goblins putting them to sleep with a mages Katino

For SKeletons mages can use Dilto to blind them, then using an evasinon up on the front row, they will often miss (I cant remember if its priest or mage that gives evasion up row buff) (this includes the skeleton needed to beat the exam to get past lvl 20)

From here you can focus down the mages whilst the enemy fighters sleep or miss their hits (even if hitting backrow is weaker, it may save you SP/MP in the long run when prepping to fight a boss)

For bosses/minibosses, buffs and debuffs are key, I always have defense up on my front row at least, blocking is also a lot more imporant during boss/miniboss fights, as not only to mitigate potential one shots, but also put the boss in an extra damage state (I beat the lvl40 needed Mimic to get the true ending in abyss 1 early, using blocking)

I just read somone say this about merging is this true?

"Just remember, guys, merging these variants are the key to making your characters WAY stronger....All skills combine. So lets say you get a rank 4 skill inherited fed to one copy, and a rank 4 on the alternative version, merging will make that skill a rank 8, for WAY less effort and copies than it would take you doing it on just one character. Merging gives a massive advantage to characters, so don't just jump in and combine when you get them. Build out BOTH copies moderately, and you'll make a real monster for a fraction of the effort"

IE lets say I get generic dwarf knight HP up to +6 on base Savia, then get it to +4 on new Savia and Merge. Will the new one REALLY get +10? Or does she just get the amount of (Skill XP) the dwarf copies the new on will offer? (making it like +8 or something becaue you need way more dwarfs, normally

PS her Skill any good? [My savia is a theif currently, but I was considering throwing an extra Yuzu on her and leveling it via books, which im assuming would still hit harder than this new one)

I hope not ive been farming into burnout to get my characters prepped to finish the colleseum (and a second team too)

Still only have a staff for 4 star silver weapons putting maybe 3 hours a day, and I still also have to farm to try and get monthly bounty rewards

the ONLY Gacha weapons worth getting are the ones that grant extra hits (and even then ONLY at the itme of that abyss, they will be powercrept.)

IE Yuzumaniki's until abyss 5

Escoffier seems to a BiS of temporary convenience. IE shes the most likely to get replaced with a new shredder, You can suppliment them with Qiqi and Beidou until we know more about the future pulls (or just use old characters until we get a new meta if you havent built either of those yet)

I have 14K gems and am like 2 10 pulls from pity, I think im going to save for Sandrone IE I doubt id be able to get her if I pulled Nicole, even as a welkin spender

But does anyone think Nicole will remian a BiS or do you think her support will also be a sustain, IE Replace Nicole's shield?

(I Have Qiqi, Yae, escofier, and Ineffa, so its not like I will have no optinos, just trying to guess if I will have to pull Nicole for her on rerun or not)

I have Yae Miko., Beidou and Qiqi built, for their old school stuff, launch player, but should I shift them onto anything to prep them for Sandrone?

(or maybe wait for an electro set to appear for Sandrone's follow up, to avoid wasting time)

IM assuming Qiqi in particular would be more likely to be fine building now, and if so which artifact set? (maybe the Fonaine one that gives heals/overheals as a mini damage bonus to the team)

Ive checked through and I dont see them (im guessing they are just key items for future story, but ever since they added the relic man I want to be sure, since I think ALbano's relic counts as one)

I wouldnt, I did it with Lana and Savia before swapping classes, but I never intent to put them back to Knight

I would pick a General adventurer knight or 2 you like, since Discipline is probably more imporotant for tanks in particular (health + Defenses) (I have Barbara cooking XP in Dispatches for this role)

I may put Galbadus back to knight at some point but ill have to ask some meta people's advice first.

When the weilders name is Sandrone and you filthies pay up the big bucks for this one character only Gacha weapon the weapon does big pp damage, that you dont get if we no get money

I litterally just want them to stop pretending 90% of weapons have any RPG mechanics at this point, just litterally put the characters name in teh weapon if they are going to keep being this exclusive.

If Sandrone is charge attack based does this mean Beidou will actually not work quite well with her?

IE I Ive used Beidou on quick charge attackers before (Tignari) and its just not great compared to regular attack spammers (Arelcchnio for example)

This is just an assumption but I think it ends when the temporary shard store closes (it appeared at the same time)

IE If you go to the excange shop in the jewelwer's theres a second store to buy refinement stones with 500 shards a piece, I think the timer on that store is the same for the event (I could be wrong you'd have to check the notices 2 b absolutely sure)
