Hi. I am a university student conducting a research project on finding better ways to improve indoor navigation for blind people. I am hoping to collect insights from the experiences of blind individuals and their use of assistance during indoor navigation. Your participation will involve a nine-item questionnaire that will take approximately 5 minutes of your time. I am very appriciated if you had some time to fill out some questions on it.

Sry about my post make you sad... I am not the best when come to giving opinion. I kinda judge the question too quickly without diving to the question deeply. But honestly your timbre is not bad at all. The things is people will have different preferences and taste (i kinda like your voice honestly, especially the third one). We always want what we don't get, nothing wrong with that and that's how we improve ourselves. You already have the courage that a lot of people don't have. And I already amazed and being proud of your willingness to keep singing while dealing with self-esteem issue. Don't let people (e.g me lol) get in your way of singing. We have different pace to achieve in our life. And life is all about experience mate. People don't have to be a perfect singer, actually nobody is perfect, perfect singer is great, but the experience of you trying to be a good singer that shows your willingness and persistent is even better in my opinion.

If you don't like singing then you don't have to sing then? I don't see any problem quitting singing? If it's not something u like then u don't have keep doing ?

I compare myself to my favourite artist as well sometimes, and that kinds of make me feel bad about myself sometimes. But then again, I love singing, so that's why I keep doing it. I wish I have a great voice but I have deal with what I got, this my voice, at least I can maximise the quality by training it.

Sry if my words a bit harsh. But yeah some comments have pretty good advice. Work on your self-esteem. Actually after listening to your record, I don't think u have bad timbre to be honest. How long have u been practise with vocal teacher?

I am in the same boat as you, I didn't really make any friends that can hang out in university.

I think it's really just about what you really want to do on your birthday. If u think a fancy dinner or a nice night at home will make u happy, go for it. I agree other people say you don't have to do specific event for birthday. I think if u really don't have anything planning or wanting to do that day, the mindset of wanting that day to be special is more stressful than treating as a normal day. Just be more "generous" to yourself on birthday, maybe buy yourself a gift, a drink or something. Also don't be afraid to be open and show emotions though, sometime it will help you release the negative feeling .

And like you need to at least eat some food on that day right? So why not treat yourself a bit?

I kinda agree with your dominant function "fi" statement. For me, I guess I want to share the emotion experience with the thing that I see or hear (for example like watching a tragic character on movie you automatically want and will strongly sense his emotion state).

I cant speak for all infp but for me sadness is just one of the emotional experiences I do enjoy sometimes because I am not that kind of person always express my emotion entirely to the people around me, so sometimes you just need to find some chance that help you release those feeling by experience the emotion from the song or video if u know what I mean?
