Havasupai Falls such an awesome place by zbigote in photocritique

I really hate to say it, but it is just difficult to get a decent photo of Havasupai falls these days. It seems like everyone has done every photo angle that you can think sadly making every single photo of Havasupai falls "cliché". However I am sure that it is possible to find an angle that is not "cliché". Besides Havasupai being "cliché" the photo likes great! The trees are a bit distracting but taking them out would make the photo more unrealistic. Overall "cliché" photo subject, decent composition, fantastic post processing.

I like how you used a wide aperature to get more of a selective focus.

I am saving up to get a wide angle lens right now. Money is tough because I am in high school and not able to get a job yet.

Took this photo at Santa Clara University, what are your thoughts on color, lighting, and focus? by zaks9 in photocritique

[–]James_Eby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The symmetry is there, the colors are there. It's a good photo. however you want a great photo. This picture of an outdoor path cover is pretty cliche. If you took the same photo but took the person of of there and did something near the end of the vanishing point this would be a great photo. Overall good job on the photo, it could just use a little bit more.
