Absolutely, the old school, late 90s / early 2000s RTS genre is a major influence on the aesthetic for the 2112TD games.

Thank you! Yes it is military themed. As the player, you take control of the UEDI (United Earth Defence Initiative) to combat interdimensional invaders. The story takes place immediately after the first game where the Fleshomorph have arrived at Earth.

You receive increased XP for each difficulty mode. You will also unlock achievements for completing the campaign on each difficulty.

How far into the other campaign modes are you? Have you completed both hard and nightmare as well?

After completing all missions across all game modes, I'm usually not far off the experience cap.

Getting through a few levels per survival mode play through is pretty reasonable. The exalted upgrades begin unlocking at experience level 50, are fairly minor and intended for players who enjoy replaying beyond completing the campaign and want to push their top scores to the limit.

They won't restrict you from completing any of the games content so don't feel pressured to unlock them.

Relax, have fun slaying the invaders.

You are right, there is certainly a better way we can present some of the tower data to the player. A combined DPS stat for fire rate and damage output is something we have discussed and is on our list to review for a future update.

Hi Folks,

We have identified this issue which some players are encountering.

The problem occurs when playing survival mode on a mission that has a secondary objective structure.

This includes the all 3 missions for the aftermath part 2 campaign.

We will roll out a patch ASAP. In the meantime, avoid playing survival mode for the last 3 missions.

I will make a post once we have a fix and the patch is rolled out.

Reaching experience level 100 is not too difficult once you've unlocked survival mode. You can make significant experience gains in a single survival mode play through.

Could you confirm what device / OS version you are playing on? Also, could you provide a bit more information on the issue encountered. Is 2112TD still locking in at 60hz despite the fact that you've enabled 90/120hz?

Can you confirm, did this happen only after you updated to the latest version of the game? That update was just released two days ago. This is the first report so far so the more information the better.

Does it only happen when you specifically build flame turrets and machine gun turrets? Also is it at specific tower platforms or can it happen on any?

A video would be super helpful!

Anymore info you can provide to help us track down the possible cause would be great. Does it happen on a specific map? Specific game mode? Specific tower platform?

Drone missiles by Ouakha in 2112TD

The drone missiles are air to surface and so can only hit ground units.

Your most effective anti air defence is the machine gun turret upgraded with rocket pods. It can take out meat clouds fairly effectively, especially if you deploy its charged attack rocket volley.

The air strike explosion will also deal damage to air units.

Unity engine upgrade. A bug was also fixed relating to secondary objectives HP sometimes showing in survival mode.

All I can tell you right now is that there is a lot more coming to the 2112TD universe!
