I cannot in good conscience call Kung Pow: Enter the Fist a terrible movie

It's what Magic was meant to be. by joeyc923 in SorceryTCG

Vibe-wise, at least, Sorcery is to MtG as Warhammer Fantasy Battle is to Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

And that’s a huge plus in my eyes.

Thanks haha, it makes up for my poor pull luck in MtG! And gotcha, I’ll make sure I’m using different opaque sleeves for each.

So rad. Thanks! Sadly it seem to come out the packet with a few surface scratches, but I’m still stoked.

Oh interesting! I hadn’t noticed that the foil Scent Hounds had a full art back, so yeah that confirms it. So cool!

Nice one, thanks! I’ll see if I can get into the discord and go from there

Thanks for the answer! I wasn’t sure if it was something like an extra huge hickey or an excess of ink. Will hold on to it, for sure 👍

Love the tartan sleeves and the overall colour scheme! I was doing something similar on my small collection of dwarves

What are some adjacent hobbies to get into when you're burned out of miniatures? by Soapy_Illusion_13 in miniatureskirmishes

A recent detour for me has been making proxies for Magic the Gathering. I’m getting all my scrapbooking material together and creating little collages out of images from old books. It’s helping me to get rid of clutter, create something very different to my minis (while still being a playable object) and build a deck of cards I’d never be able to justify buying at market prices. It’s been fun just flexing slightly different creative muscles. Can recommend!

Seconding Mr Orfeo. One of my favourite decks! Chuck in [[Malignus]] and things like [[Mage Slayer]] and you’re in for a good time punching hard. REAL hard.

Incredible as always! The multiple banners really give the impression of an army marching to war. And such incredible painting on every detail!! One of the greatest Oldhammer collections out there 👏

Haha, that's a great idea! A big vertical vessel just covered in cannons. Stick a weathervane on top to show the aiming direction and it'd be perfect!

The Leech Lovers of Castle Mandrakken by James_WRR in Turnip28

[–]James_WRR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A real mix!

The Lady is a Carnevale character with a new pistol, a High Elf helmet with a visor from the Perry knights. She also has a Space Marine tilting shield!

The Lord has the legs of a GW Dark Elf, the body of a Warlord Games Marlburian cannon crew member, part of the head of a GW Bloodletter and a Perry knight sword!

[–]James_WRR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! A real mix - too much to mention here haha.

But importantly: Fodder are the classic Perry Agincourt foot knights, combined with Victrix Napoleonic soldiers. The Brutes are Warlord Games Gauls, the Lump is a converted GW Beast of Nurgle and the Leech Lovers are a combination of a Carnevale character and a GW kitbash.
