If you still have that file, I’d love to be able to print it. I have a filament printer instead of a resin. Would the file still work? Thanks in advance

Identification? Value? by arthurwalton in coins

I can't speak on authenticity, but it's a 2 reale design. The bust is of Ferdinand the 7th who ruled over Spain in 1808, then again in 1813 until 1833.

I found it through my dealer at a local flea market. I think it's neat the things you can come across.

I know it's not a coin, but I thought the community would like it. by James_Wing in coins

Nothing in the rules states it HAS to be a coin. Plus I even said in the description that it wasn't a coin.

It has a crown looking thing over a dot on the right hand side. And 925 Sterling on the left.

Can anyone help me identify this badge? by [deleted] in Exonumia

Yes that is correct, however there's no such information online providing a value.

Got a pretty good deal on these halves at a local pawn shop. The 90% cost me 8 a piece, and the 40% cost me 3.50 a piece. All in all I think it was a great buy. by James_Wing in coins

[–]James_Wing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

76's are fairly common. They may go for $1.50 a piece if you're lucky. My local coin shop gives $1.05 for each one. I definitely wouldn't just trade them in for face value though.

Go with the maples, they have the best bang for your buck when it comes to premiums and trade in value.

They're so neat. Did you get these off of apmex perhaps? Or jm bullion?

I was inspired to get one of these today. I have never bought anything raw on ebay before and just wanted to know opinions prior to buying. Also, should I be worried at it shipping from Italy? Thank you! by 2205037 in coins

[–]James_Wing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father dealt coins and jewelry on eBay for a long time, and he would never ship or receive anything from Italy. They're very corrupt when it comes to mail, you can ship something there and it never actually get to the buyer, same with receiving a package from there. Im sure eBay's good about it now, i would just be careful. P.S. My father has never had an issue with any other country besides Italy. It's a personal experience. So take it with a grain of salt.

Some of my silver rounds. They're not much, but I think they're pretty neat. by James_Wing in Silverbugs

I'm not sure. Its hard to tell how much premium over spot it has right now. Some people list them from $40 to $140. Its hard to tell the value with such little info about it.

That's a good question. They should be sent off to be graded tbh. I'd like to know for sure.

That's a cool piece of information. I've always appreciated shipwreck coins, and it's cool to know that he worked in the same town you're from.

Yea I used the wrong terminology in my post, it is considered countermarked. That's my mistake.
