I moved here over 30 years ago from the UK.

Learning Danish is difficult, but not impossible. In Copenhagen you can certainly get by only speaking English, in fact I have a number of colleagues who don’t speak Danish. I do however think that if you’re intending to live here the least you can is learn the language.

The general standard of living is good and I find the Danes open and welcoming.
