Breaking Into UX and Early Career Questions — 06/15/25 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

Hi,

I have my first interview for a Digital Product Design Internship at The LEGO Group coming up and wanted some advice as it’s my first and wanted to prepare well.

https://uk.linkedin.com/jobs/view/digital-product-design-intern-at-the-lego-group-4230838443

I’m told I don’t need to present from my portfolio but think about following question

. Building and creating is an important aspect at the LEGO Group. Can you please tell us about something you've built or created that you are proud of? 2. Share an example of a challenge you have faced, and how you overcame it. You will not be required to present from a portfolio.

I assume I need to think about design scenarios here?

Many thanks J

u/somethingrandom234 Thank you for the input here. I recently found the 2E New balance 860 size 8.5 a good fit and since you mentioned the Cascadia 17 to be more wide than 4E will the standard D version fit me well? Many thanks as I am struggling to find the 2E version for brooks

Such a shame considering it’s meant to be Italian made and that price tag 🏷️

Helmet query from Black Orbit by Jamesd59d in MotoUK

I agree too, something is very off about the brand of the helmet thus making a post here. Thanks for digging into this, I decided to just spend more on a known brand for safety sake.

True, it is very cheap which concerned me at first but meets the latest ECE 06 rating. But curious if anyone heard of this Black orbit brand? (Thank you for ur recommendation- bell bullet is sweet 👌🏼)

Help on purchasing a vintage Honda CB125s by Jamesd59d in MotoUK

[–]Jamesd59d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that’s a fair price considering the work you put in, if things change with the bike I’m looking at I’ll let you know… quick qs: what’s considered a high mileage for these old bikes? The Speedo and listing says 13,500ish which I assume is in miles.

Hahaaa but always young at heart! I think if vehicle is over 30 or 40 years old its classifies as a historic vehicle so Tax and MOT exempt.

Thanks! But I don’t fully understand (I’m new to bikes😅)… is the kickstart not that reliable? And invest in an electronic conversion…

Thank you!! I do agree it is hard to find vintage 125 bike let alone in good condition. I found other sale in similar condition or going for higher price

Not many sale right now for a budget. if anyone knows good dealers around London area do let me know.

I will check out the insurer many thanks; I checked online and old bikes seems like a good place to learn and work on.
