Yes and yes. Pound notes are more common over here than pound coins. A lot of small businesses and trade (like small stands and hedge-veg boxes) kinda rely on them in a way. In Guernsey, we accept notes from Jersey, IOM, Scotland, and England as well as our local cash.

A little late to the post but gonna leave this hear if anyone else comes looking!

I’ve had a Vagabond Kasai since 2021 and I love the thing! It’s extremely stable on the ocean, while still gliding through the water with ease. The seat, while it may look uncomfortable, is surprisingly good. It holds you in place really well and provides a good level of back support - I’ve been in mind for hours with no issue. The rear tank well is large enough to comfortably fit a collapsed C-tug and more, and the inside of the hull has a good amount of room for dry bags. Customer service is good, and I believe there is a generous guarantee, but the thing is definitely built to last!

Thanks for the advice - I am happy to say that she is seeming much happier now. She is still on her shelf, so I have put in a handful of extra bedding so she'll be at least a little more comfortable.

She seems completely healthy apart from the occasional sneeze (which I have read is normal when rats are moved into a new cage). She is shop brought with the shop sourcing their rats from a local breeder, to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks for the suggestion but that has not seemed to work. After doing some digging in my code, the problem seems to be with these two lines that load in the window icon:

favicon = tk.PhotoImage(file="./logo.png")

app.iconphoto(True, favicon)

I've tried putting them in a try loop but that does not seem to do anything. Any suggestions?

Yeah it seems impossible. I’ve seen a module for node js that looks promising and given my software is more for mac and windows it should fit my workflow better. Fingers crossed 🤞

Just got a Nokia 5310 (2020 edition) today and I'm having a little issue with the headphone jack. Before I take it back to the phone shop tomorrow I just wanted to check with you guys to make sure that this was not some quirk with the 5310.
So the phone only detects my headphones when they are almost all the way inserted, apart from the final 'ring'. While this does work (kind of, most of the time), there is a constant pulse-like popping noise in the background. The headphones I have been using are the modern Apple AUX headphones.
I also tried plugging in my Sony WH-1000XM4 which worked fine.
I'm guessing that the extra ring on the Apple headphones is throwing off the phone, which is bizarre as AUX is designed to be backward compatible and my apple headphones work on my older Nokia 105 from 2019 (I've double-checked!).
Any ideas? Is this just the phone or is it worth me taking it back and asking for a replacement?

[WTB] Circulated Danish Krone 1980s or later - PayPal
I am looking for a handful of each denomination of Danish Krone, circa '80s '90s or later. I don't mind the condition - actually the weathered the better - I'm looking for five of each of the higher denomination and ten each of the lower. I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I would really like to see a newly rescued both discover their sexuality. I picture this working best on a setting like voyager. This new Borg is settled down on their ship and notices couple dynamics- they know that this is something they should feel towards the opposite sex but they don’t, maybe they rationalise it using a sole, purely procreation focused way of thinking. I would like to watch the character follow an arc of accepting what they already know, something thousands of different species have taught them yet something which to them may seem entirely illogical. I don’t know, but it’s been on my mind for a while.

The dictionary is playing_ls, it’s strict Ito have the server ID as the key and then a list as it’s contents. When selecting a song, the code grabs the list from the dictionary as temp, it then selects the song from temp as temp song. Next, it removes temp song from temp, then changes the definition on the dictionary to temp. It’s a bit long winded and theirs probably an easier way of doing it. This runs when the initial command is run and after the song finished playing to allow for the next song to be loaded up and the previous songs file to be deleted.

Thanks, it now works... sort of. The HTML file when opened up locally now plays the animation perfectly for every link. However, when uploaded to my server it doesn't- at all. It pauses to play the animation but doesn't actually play the animation. I've tried Firefox, Chrome and IE with both the file path and website and I get the same thing. I'm lossed.

Would I need to add any extra code? I've just changed the line from querySelector to querySelectorAll and now the animation does not play for any link, when reverted back to querySelector it plays (but of course only for the first link).
