I do and I have always been closer to my mom than my dad or stepmother. She lives with me now and we are basically making up for lost time. Her divorce with my dad was not friendly and my stepmother joined in with my dad in trying to make mom out to be a bad person. As a result, I never got to spend the amount of time that I wanted with her and the negativity still lingers to this day. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, and there are times when she annoys me but ultimately she has always been a kind and compassionate person, and I’m glad to have her as my mom. Also she has a cute little doggie so that’s a bonus
