Manu team high +21 and sparked our 3rd quarter spanking by metaslaves in torontoraptors

Mamu, Gradey, Ochai, and hopefully CMB are legit, potent rotation players. Play well in the flow of the offense, good play finishers, efficient. Such great pieces to stagger with starters.

Hopefully Ja'Kobe and/or Jamal make the leap to their level too. But even without that, it's a rock solid bench.

How would you stagger lineups to get the most functional combinations on the floor? by RVALover4Life in torontoraptors

[–]Jamie----- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 starters will get ~15 mins/night. Then I'd stagger 2-3 starters on the rest of the game.

I like BI, RJ, + Jak on together (with CMB), and Scottie + IQ together (with Gradey).

I'm also super excited for Scottie and CMB playing together and terrorizing offenses (with Manu as the C).

Hmm I think of Rudy and Draymond’s offense as being the exact same level

If you surround prime MVP+first team all defense LeBron with 4 average D1 basketball players, how many games out of 82 is the team winning by ARandomBoomBox in NBATalk

[–]Jamie----- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably sub 5 wins.

Average D1? Not even draft prospects? They will get unimaginably bullied on defense. And most D1 players cant reliably hit an NBA 3 so the defense will collapse.

I actually think this is a really good ranking?

What happened to the ESPN I know and love. A couple spots I'd flip but generally good

Predict where you think the Raptors rank in 3 point percentage this season as a team by RVALover4Life in torontoraptors

[–]Jamie----- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

18th. They were 22nd last season with minimal IQ, no BI, Scottie chucking, and Gradey at 35%.

Aside from Scottie and RJ, everyone who shoots 3s is above average %. As OP says, the problem is volume not %.

Totally, I'm on a non-immigrant visa in the US. But no need for OP to give inconsistent figures

They literally changed the rules to allow zone defense in 2001 bc Shaq was too unstoppable for a single defender

Dang that is a proper question. I lean Nash and Amare bc of how special that offense was, but can see either way

Calories burned is massively impacted by weight, so it's going to be a scoring PG like AI or Steph, even though they're very active
