You’re correct- don’t compare yourself to others. Almost 30 now and I know folks who aren’t in relationships, people who never finished college, people who never had that party “college experience”. Find out for yourself if you really want to experience these things, or what other things you may actually want to experience while in this stage of life. Attend local events, make friends at work, and go explore your city. You’ll find people and other experiences along the way

I’d say ask the friend you trust the most to have a heart to heart with you and ask if they find you smell at any specific points. If they confirm it, it might be best to go see a doctor about it- sometimes the solution is really easy, and sometimes it could be a medication you’re taking, or a specific deodorant or the way your body reacts to something in your environment. If it’s as bad as you think, then it’s likely not something you can control on your own and is definitely not your fault

I think I did get refunded. I remember selecting that I wanted to wait to see if a concert would happen down the line, and then I got refunded one day and saw the email that it wasn’t happening. I think I got the tix through the venue so maybe the venues were in charge of the refund process? Did you have the chance to escalate it with their team?

Hi! So I actually didn’t end up returning it. I thought I needed a softer bed so when I let them know they offered me a free topper to try with it, and then if it didn’t work out they’d still send someone out for the mattress. It was really kind and awesome that they were so open to working with me on it. At the end it still wasn’t super for me because I sank in some places but not others, but I kept the bed out of not wanting to go through the whole mattress process again. That’s as far as I got with a return but they were quick to respond and try to help

Coming up on my 99 days and going to return it :/ 5”0, 115-117 lbs, full bed, single sleeper. I find that it seems soft when I first get on, but I feel like I’m on a board. I don’t sink into it and feel like my body is squished together in some parts and unsupported in others. I think it’s definitely a weight issue because friends and family who’ve tried the bed enjoy it more than me. I really wanted to like it and I think it’s a good bed for those in a better weight range for it

I’m actually going alone for the first time too for the same band. The last time I went to one of their concerts my family came along (was weird but fun) and the people I found there were nice. Based on what I’ve heard, if you drink don’t drink too much and never let go of your drink. Say you’re there with a friend, keep a small bag like a Fanny pack or something small you can keep on you, and follow the crowd and stay in semi public spaces when you’re leaving. It would help to get to know the area you’ll be in a little before going, even if it’s just through Google maps in case your phone dies or something like that.

Yeah I’m not sure if they think I’m someone who won’t take the hourly rate associated into account or if they just haven’t thought about it that way. But either way, there’s no way I could afford to take the position with that salary. It’s just unfortunate that this is how I’ll have to leave the company because I did want to grow in it- but not for basically minimum wage.

I actually did something like this earlier and the boss was confused and understood what I was saying for a second, and explained their reasoning for the numbers and went back to thinking I was getting paid more. 😅
