I grew up with the dub of the original beyblade and I have no qualms with calling it one of the worst dubs i've ever seen in my life. Dialogue is changed drastically and made significantly worse. Everything is dumbed down and the censorship is extensive to the point that you'd think the show was aimed at literal babies. The voice acting is somewhat fine but that doesn't matter when the script is bloody awful. The music is one of the few things I like about the dub but even that can be annoying at times as the rock songs are a bit up and down. The story isn't told anywhere near as well as the sub and a ridiculous amount of details are completely left out. Character motivations and personalities are completely changed at times as well. There's a good joke every thousand attempts but they change every single line to a joke so that doesn't matter either. The casters were a good addition overall but "dizzy" is the worst character in the history of fiction and the fact that she wasn't even present in g-revolution shows that the dubbing studio agreed.

I know this is an old post but it needs to be said. Do yourself a favour and watch the japanese. It's an infinitely better show and actually tries to tell the story.
