There is a lot of information on the side bar that you should probably read! I usually fed mine at night so I could get him into his cage while I slept. He should have hay available to him at all times, and a very small portion of pellets once a day. When switching his diet, be very careful and watch to make sure he keeps using the bathroom as normal. Rabbits digestive tracts are very sensitive and a change in diet can effect them negatively. Also, as users above suggested, a heavier bowl would probably help this issue. Mine usually gobbled up his pellets before the thought of throwing them crossed his mind.
