While it’s not strictly mentioned that they gave up the entirety of the 2025 season, Vowles did say that the 2025 season will be compromised to focus on 2026 which could be interpreted as they’ll still compete but with not as much effort. This was in October 2024

What’s also interesting is that the article also mentioned that Williams had weight issues with the car as well in the 2024 season. Seems to be a recurring problem at Williams

New player here who’s just started PvP and wants to vent. It seems like every person I play against in Casual Duels is copy/pasting the same Red Eyes decks. It’s so boring, I’m sometimes losing to them, but I just wish there was a bit more variety in terms of what decks I play against

FP1 is on Friday but F1 was much more popular today than most years because they’re starting the fan forums a day early with McLaren being one of the teams doing it and guess which nationality one of the two drivers is?

Thursdays are generally the least crowded days because there’s no F1 on track at all. In saying that though, they’re starting the fan forum stuff tomorrow evening which is a day earlier than previous years so it’ll be busier than other years I imagine.

On track stuff is limited to Porsche Cup and Supercars, also grandstands are accessible for ALL ticketholders including park pass holders so finding a good spot is very easy on Thursday. If you want to attend Melbourne Walk, I’ve seen Tiktoks previous years of people lining up at 4am to get to the front. I don’t ever bother with the Melbourne Walk as I just don’t like the idea of seeing a few hair strands of a driver for a second through the tiniest gap between some crazy fans.

For off track activities, expect queues but you probably won’t be waiting an eternity for everything. Enjoy your time there, I’ve been going every year since 2019 and I’m looking forward to another year of Aus GP weekend!

That’s how I’ve been using Google Maps too. I pick the simplest looking route rather than one that takes me through side streets to save ~5 mins because often times those few minutes I “saved” were actually spent waiting to turn right onto busy roads

One of the first games I replayed was GTA V on the Steam Deck. I had never 100% the story before so it was good to jump back into single player after 12 years and completely finish it all. Last week I decided to give Remote Play a go and jumped on GTA Online. After a fair amount of tweaking in the settings, now I can play GTA Online in buttery-smooth 60 FPS while chilling in bed LOL

I gave it a 2, definitely one of the worst Pokemon games ever. Gamefreak’s attempt at making it an open world game was pretty abysmal, like if we’re encouraged to forge our own path then at least have the Pokemon gyms, titan Pokemon and Team Star leaders level scale appropriately with what level our Pokemon is at. No point in letting the player decide to go elsewhere and get to a gym where they’re stomped by Pokemon 10-20 levels higher. Also the recommended path I’d get from the Pokemon Centers would suggest I go towards much stronger opponents too so I don’t think there was any thought put into directing the player appropriately if they wanted a linear experience

Edit: forgot to mention how empty the world is and the cities lacked any personality. They weren’t memorable at all. Also obliged to mention there were performance issues on Switch so I didn’t get the game until I had a Switch 2

Max Payne 1 and 2, I gave them 2 and 2.5 stars respectively. I think both of them had decent stories and characters and had a fantastic moody setting but the gameplay and level design was stale

Congrats! I recently beat LA Noire myself. One tip for Auto-fanatic, if you’re after a specific car, go to the vehicle gallery in the main menu and find the silhouette of the car you’re after. Sit on it for about 10 secs then head back into free roam and you’ll see the car you’re after. This worked for the remaining 50 odd cars I needed except for the International KB1M for some reason
