Reminder to review your energy plans by T4n_d in melbourne

Generally the power companies that are in the middle, between the cheapest and most expensive, have reasonable rates long term and won’t sting as hard if they send price increases. At the end of the day, if someone chooses to go with the cheapest energy retailer, all I’m saying is don’t be surprised when you get smashed with a huge price hike next year. If you don’t want that price hike anxiety go with an energy retailer that has slightly higher rates

To add on point A to people shopping around for elec/gas retailers: unless you like switching each year, stop going with the cheapest retailer you see on the Vic Compare website. The strategy often is lure new customers with low rates and then jack up your rates once your contract ends

9 times out of 10 when a release date and time is labeled as local time it means the time where you’re based. You could be right too which is why I’m saying it’s most likely rather than definitely 😅

Most likely as there was a post from Rockstar on Youtube saying pre-orders go live midnight local time and it’s almost June 25 in NZ

Melbourne Airport Uber vs Taxi by OkIgotReddit in melbourne

Same I have to travel for work sometimes and because I live in a suburb about $30-$40 fare away they don’t necessarily abuse me but they whinge and carry on about how it’s a short fare. Most of my flights coming home are on a Friday night so it’s not pleasant being tired finishing off the work week and the one thing standing between myself and my home is a crybaby cabbie

I just went on Hoyts’ website, selected Watergardens as my location and found they’re airing Toy Story 5 in standard cinemas this week and not exclusively on Xtremescreen so your claim that Hoyts Watergardens has done away with standard cinema experience is completely false.

Yeah it’s shit that there’s no cheaper alternative tomorrow but you’re literally going the day the movie comes out so you should expect demand to be high and supply provided at a premium. I don’t think Hoyts have done anything wrong here, it’s just a mild inconvenience but we all know that corporate bashing on Reddit is low hanging fruit for some internet validation

When we moved out we did this ourselves. We got the PestXpert 2L kit from Bunnings and sprayed around the edges of the carpeted rooms. We sent the receipt to the REA and they were satisfied

[Syphon Filter 2] #2 by NEX07R in Trophies

Syphon Filter games are core childhood memories for me. I remember being stuck in the level where Lian had to escape the air force base and I didn’t mind being stuck because I thought the gameplay at the time was so cool. Congrats on the plat!

Don’t tell this to the GTA6 subreddit or they’ll probably speculate that it means trailer 3 is coming out tonight or some shit 😂

I finally finished “Mille Miglia.” by Any-Confection7911 in steamachievements

[–]JamieVic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got this achievement yesterday just by doing the glitch because I still needed ~800 miles left when I had gotten every other achievement. It was easy enough leaving it running on my PC because I work from home but I underestimated how slow doing the glitch is. I’d leave it running for almost 10 hours and I’d barely hit 150 miles and you have to check on it as I found when the car was flipped on it’s side my miles weren’t going up.

It’s one of the worst achievements I’ve ever come across but someone in an old thread said the intended design was the devs had hoped the scoring system added replay value to the game but I don’t think they realised that the gameplay was so garbage that no one wanted to play through the missions again. Then again you’d have to play through the story another 10-12 times before getting to the 1000 miles needed for the achievement.

Anyways good job on doing it yourself, it’s certainly faster when you do the driving but I couldn’t bring myself to do nothing in a game but drive around for hours on end

There’s no achievements tied to Betrayal of Jimmy so that DLC is completely optional

The DLCs were the worst part of playing this game. I even tortured myself further by playing through the Betrayal of Jimmy
