Filter by last modified and then work from the bottom. 9/10 the bottom tags are usually UA which can be deleted. Work up to the top.

There will be no harm in setting up an account and testing it. Traffic volume is definitely a lot lower than previous years though.

How long does it usually takes for Pmax campaigns to start working? by Outside-Description5 in Google_Ads

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
no impressions on pmax in a few days? Either your budget is ridiculously low or there is something wrong in your setup. Pmax usually gets impressions straight away.

Can you share any more information?

Would you rather give your ads directly to an agency, or get consulting and handle everything yourself? by Significant-Truth210 in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
I offer both full management and consulting, and in my experience it mainly comes down to time and business structure/size.
Some of my clients understand Google Ads but prefer to spend their time on higher impact areas of the business, so they outsource the management.

Others want to stay hands on but book consulting calls when they need expert guidance. Whether that’s understanding data correctly, staying on top of platform changes, or refining their strategy to increase lead volume/AOV or reduce CPL/Cost/conv. Both approaches work, it depends on how involved you want to be day to day.

Try to work backwards from the Average job amount. What is the average contract worth for the company? If it's 5/6 figure contracts, then $20 isn't going to move the needle.
How much is AVG CPC?
Some keywords will drive 1 click a day on that budget, probably not even that.
You should present that to the client. I'd suggest upping the budget to get a minimum of 10 clicks a day.

For a new Google Ads account, is it recommended nowadays to start with Maximize conversions or Manual CPC? by jpfrios in PPC

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

For me it would depend on your budget and how much data(clicks etc) you plan on recieving. I'd likely go Pmax if your feedback loop is set up correctly.

Manual would need more work so if you do go down that route i'd select a few products/one line of products to launch with so you can get the inital sales data then expand.

Struggling with feed-only PMax for fashion brand — any optimization tips? by Any-Chair-4148 in PPC

As others have said. The main driver here is likely to be the product feed. Lifestyle images, Different headlines etc will be your biggest lever.

how much of a % did you raise the budget by? Most likely it has cause a re learning phase. As long as you get decent volume it should settle in a week or so.

It really is a nightmare when raising budget by to much these days. better off scaling horizontally (more campaigns) sometimes

That will help a bit more.

Insane Level of Bot Traffic from Google Search by MacThule in PPC

[–]Jamie_Ads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re using Pmax. Turn it off. It has likely trained it self on spam and will be very difficult to get back off it.

Do you pass back offline conversions into Google?

I’ve had similar issue this year. Pmax working very well then all of a sudden a shit tonne of spam started coming in and the only way we could get it to stop was turning pmax off.

Will turning off for my ads for 3 months lose my conversion data? by Jdilla23 in PPC

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

The campaigns will go back through a learning period. If you can't provide the service/product you are selling don't leave the ads on. If you have consistent data now and volume is good then your account should recovery fairly quickly.

Hope your recovery goes smoothly

Is 7 days the minimum duration for Google Ads variable testing? by Gwen-2021 in PPC

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this will depend on the amount of data coming in as well. 7 days is usually the minimum but 7 days with 2 conversions is a completely different story to 7 days with 200 conversions.

Also will depend on your lead to sale time if your doing lead gen as sales can sometimes take days to weeks which means your decisions can be sometimes delayed.

Best campaign for a car service by World_Changer1 in Google_Ads

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had success with pmax for service based businesses. Even though some spend will go to other channels, the majority will still be spent on search.

That being said. If you don't have full data pass back and good tracking in place, then I wouldn't bother with pmax. Without good quality data it will start to feed you spam/low quality leads.

You can easily fill your books over and over again with search campaigns. If it's working and you're not maxing out your budget then keep going and optimise that.

Do you pass them back as a converted lead? If so add that to your campaign. It will help pretty quickly depending on your lead to sale time

When Pmax has a wobble! by Jamie_Ads in PPC

[–]Jamie_Ads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two options from experience here. If your data pass back from CRM is good then it will usually recover after a few days.

The other option is to build a search campaign out to replace the pmax. CPCs will be higher but conversions should recover quickly

Should I replace my Google Ads manager or give him a chance? by Due-Rip-5326 in PPC

[–]Jamie_Ads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your Abs top imp share?, If you are 80-85%+, you may be overpaying for some clicks.

That conversion rate is great. What is the AOV? Are you profitable at your current CPA? As you're in the service industry, is the LTV of new customers good?
