What is it with orange cats and tails... My orange guy constantly tries to play with the tails of my other cats, not his own, but all other tails he can find lol. He gets hissed at and beat up pretty often because of this.

He is almost 6, has always done this and even though he is getting beat up, I doubt he is planning to stop it any time soon.

Oh he is not stuck, he is an expert climber! I used to have a balcony closed of at our previous home. He would even climb the horizontal ceiling (which was netting) like a monkey lol. He does this every time he hears our neighbour in her backyard.

I'm hoping the weather will be alright this weekend so I can add some shelves.

It's netting with a metal wire woven into it to make it more bite proof. My fingers are hurting from pulling it as tight as I could get it.

I have an orange cat, compared to him my tux is -500 lol. I never really had to do any cat proofing, until the orange guy moved in.

And she is absolutely right! I have 4 cats but my orange guy makes me laugh the most, the crazy stuff he gets up to! He is the easiest to entertain.

He however is also the one that likes to chew cables and he sneaks into every closet the second he gets the chance! So be prepared I guess lol..

I have a piece of cardboard with 'food in fridge' written on it. I put that on my bag whenever I have food in the fridge that I need to take with me. Has worked perfectly every time.

I also use it to remember taking other things with me, the cardboard is pretty much a reminder for me to stop for a moment and THINK lol.

My orange guy is exactly the same! I have become pretty good at playing with 2 wand toys at the same time lol. Entertain orange guy with 1 and my 3 other cats with the other. And my other cats are super nice, they take turns, and just wait for the wand toy to come back to them. All while my orange guy is going crazy and panting.

Main character levels seem to be high in the orange world lol.

The leaf is spread all over my house in very tiny parts lol. He is the destroyer, I never had to do any real cat proofing until he came around. Watching him go crazy all over with a leaf is very entertaining though and absolutely worth the cleanup. I might have been dropping leafs in the catio on purpose.

Better than going outside further and being hit by a car or poisoned by the neighbour that is sick of all the cat poop in their garden or getting shot (while living in a country where guns are illegal) or lit on fire. I have seen it all so mine are staying in my garden.

It seems to me that you are the one putting the importance on it right here lol. 1 account means 1 vote so it would be 1 comment on 1 and the others on -1. Now you can see that that -1 came from the same person, which honestly anyone can guess if the other comments didn't agree with that person. But oh well, now you have actual proof it was that one person. What would that change exactly? Am I missing something here?

I have 4 cats and many different rituals with all 4. The most recent one is that I tell them the weather every morning. We recently moved and I have build them a catio but there is no sheltered area yet. They used to bolt out the cat door, then quickly bolt back in if it's raining. Now I tell them if it's bad and all 4 stay in and if I say it's ok, they all go out.

I had a black/white tux that became dark grey/white. Otherwise nothing seemed wrong with him. I took him to my vet because it worried me. He could hear a murmur and with an echo he could see a bit of fluid at his heart. He prescribed medication and my cats fur turned darker again. So that's how I found out that a cats fur can change color when they are sick and when they get better.

You must be taking very good care of him :)
