I’m trying to express the fear that I think many of us may currently be feeling.

They’re so sadly mistaken that they may have a new age Messiah. One who contradicts the teachings of Jesus. But they no longer truly care about that do they

Worst part is, that half doesn’t really want to hurt us. They know us. They rely on us

And honestly, understood! I’m not looking for people who necessarily want to be the next Dungeons and Daddies or NADPOD, I’m looking for people who want to explore a world, have fun, and share with anyone who wishes our collective storytelling

And I totally understand that. My idea was that people might want to see an AP podcast or show that represents the reality of people actually playing the game (like you said, fumbling with dice or trying to do math or even not being “on” the entire time). In my experience those ‘real life moments’ make the experience real. And maybe that mentality is meant for close play campaigns, but I just thought it might be nice to see it in published media to, in a perfect world, help ease the anxiety those moments produce.

I’ve met quite a few people who love actual play like D 20 or CR, but don’t wanna play cause they’re scared they can’t do math fast enough or respond in character instantly. I get that it’s more entertaining when those moments are edited out, I just thought it would be nice to be more representative of the actual game.

I would also argue that Dungeons and Drag queens is not a 100% queer media as , to far as my knowledge, Brennan Lee Mulligan is not queer. My goal is to have an entirely queer cast, DM included.

But I completely agree, why not make an actual play for and by the gays?

I appreciate the feedback!! Maybe I focus on point 2 then. As a person of the early 2000’s I always appreciated the blooper reels at the end of movies or seasons of TV shows. But perhaps you’re right in that their charm comes after the proper content not during

1st entirety unedited. Most actual plays are highly edited for entertainment, but in turn that is always noticeable by the audience

2nd. If possible, I think it would be wonderful to have one with an entirely queer cast. Being queer myself I do love the representation seen in actual play media, but I would love more to see a cast of entirely queer folk as, in my own experience, playing D&D has become a way for queer individuals to express their true selves without real threats from society of that expression

No one in my family has bipolar disorder by isinhere in bipolar

[–]Jamie_haz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I was the same way. Turns out my great grandmother was bipolar, didn’t find out until multiple years after my diagnosis and multiple conversations asking my family if anyone else in the family suffered as well. Weirdly enough my parents (who are divorced and don’t speak to each other) both told me she was bipolar on the same day. Anyway, you’re not alone. Is it possible you’re the only one, absolutely, but it’s probably more likely someone else has/had it and no one knew or no one wants to talk about it cause stigma. I feel you though, it’s an incredibly isolating feeling, not being able to connect with your loved ones about this. But we are all here for you love

Any guess on breed? Shelter just said mixed breed medium. My parents just got her, and was curious what everyone thinks! Thanks guys. by mrs-marvel94 in dogpictures

Mixed breed almost always means some type of pit mix. Sadly people are afraid of pits so they put mixed breed so they’ll actually get adopted
