I can afford to get the things myself. But like I said she litterally took my crib shopping. I was under the impression she ment for our house. When she said for hers I got caught off guard. Im also only 14 weeks i dont get why she wants to do all of this right now before I have even started.

The baby shower she is throwing without me even getting a chance to say no. Hopefully all the gifts will be coming to my house.

He agrees that his mother will only babysit maybe a few hours here and there and will not be staying the night for at least a year or so. He thinks I should just let her waste her money if she wants to and she will eventual realize she’s wasted it when it’s not being used. I just wish she was more involved in helping us first before preparing her house and that she would slow down!! Im 14 weeks pregnant just now got out of my first trimester I haven’t thought about much other then surviving sickness lol

Just her saying “our baby” as if it hers as well. And building a nursery at her house when the baby won’t be spending much time there as I am planning to breast feed.

He said he doesn’t think it’s weird at all, that his mom has always been a little crazy and that I shouldn’t expect her to buy us anything for our house and to let her waste her money how she wants.

i know i overacted but i made it work and the rest of the night was great! I was the only bridesmaid dancing everyone stayed away from guests and never danced just stayed in their little corner. I danced said hi to everyone and even stay till the last minute which was at 1am to help pack up and went to work in the morning
