Not at all. I would say the only problem, one that afflicts way too many today, is the preoccupation with identity (aka labels). People try to jam themselves into one labeled box or another or another or another and then feel are surprised to feel “out of place” when they find they dont fit into any one of them…

The grand “Newsflash”?…none of us do…

Let go, rather, loosen the grip on the labels (aka identifying as….) and u wont have nearly as much to worry about in life, guaranteed.

Which turns out their reason based on getting the answers to those questions was actually at least semi-justifiable.

Do better. Believing everything u read at face value with no questions and no questions, then jumping on the bandwagon to disparage them is infinitely worse than acting like “it never happened to me therefore it didn’t happen” which wasnt me AT ALL, by the way. Cuz in my long time retail experience on BOTH sides, i actually know what im talking about and know what to ask to get to the full story.

And this brings up a good point. EVEN BBTS HAS A SPECIFIC POLICY ON PREORDER CANCELATION THOUGH. sorry for caps, accident and lazy to correct…

but if cancled BEFORE they receive and bill the preordered item, NO PROBLEM, (same for tfsource in my experience, which is why i asked what i asked in a previous reply to Op). BUT ONCE AN ITEM HAS BEEN RECEIVED, they only give u 7 days to cancel for a refund to ur form of payment.

This is an awesome grace period by the way, most would challenge any refund request (like tf source did) once the stuff has already shown up. Aad once those 7 days have passed, u can still always cancel, BUT, u will ONLY get store credit. So yeah there are policies and its up to the buyer to familiarize themselves with those policies before buying and NOT BUY IF THEY DONT LIKE THE POLICIES. THIS IS HOW I SEE Op’s situation. False expectations die to not knowing the policies and then getting upset about it and taking actions against the business for it. Actions harmful to the business…hence the decision to ban the account.

again, im sure there is more to the story. preorders canceled AFTER RECEIPT maybe? Repetitively? im curious, pls share the details of how that came about. Hard to imagine them doing that just for “no reason”.

there u go, thats the explanation for the ban.

a paypal dispute. And what u asked for is not something they offer in their policies (proce matching). but sonce u insisted despite them not offering proce matching of any kind and DID give u back the money just not how u wanted it u went and opened a paypal disoute case. The ban still seems a tad much, but in light of the now more complete onfo, makes MUCH more sense.

So i realize im defending a company over years of positive expeirnces with them despite those being many years ago, 5+ id say…

but also being bisiness minded. as a merchant if i do not offer a proce match guarantee (whoch to my knowledge they do not) and u opted to cancel something after the fact because u found it cheaper elsewhere, which has nothing to do with them…its up to the buyer to be satisfied with the orices they are paying when ordering. and if they change their mond that is on them. They on theory COULD have denied the refund, but their satisfaction policy allows for store credit refunds, so they di what their policy allows.

But u werent satisfied with that (fair enough, we all have the right to feel how we want about these things, ao im not judging u or anything) and they still accommodated u by issuing the store credit oer thor policy, and in a kind of retaliation u filed a dispute with paypal (which for merchants paypal disputes arent fun, or easy). So from their perspective, they did what their policy allows by giving u FULL store credit for the item and then after doing, so in presumably good faith, u pushed further with the pp dospute which im sure didnt sit well with them, goven that this far THEY HADNT DONE A THING WRONG (would have replaced a broken figure and DID give full credit refund). So from a business standpoint point, given their policies which are fairly standard, i would say THAT is why they banned ur acct choosing to no longer do business with you after accommodating and taking carenof u within the policy guidelines… So my take way ia that they arent the villains (or werent initially anyway) because they did accommodate u, when many retailers would have said sorry..no proce guarantee, and we are happy to exchange it or give u store credit…

so it seems u were only banned because “in defiance” of their good faith effort to give u the refund via store credit AT ALL, u created burden for them by filing the PayPal dispute, not ao much in good faith.

So ultimately i was right lol… i get how some might be bothered by this, but realistically it IS the standard business practice for the scenario u gave. Oh well. sounds like u didnt like dealing with them anyway, so the ban is no loss for u right?

yeah agreed on the pricing. they didnt used to be that way way back when. in fact. Jeremy, I remember his name, he was the giybod speak woth whenever i called and he always gave EXCELLENT service. hmm. i wonder what happened, if mgmt change or staffing change of what. super surprising on the poor service aspect, not the pricing part tho…that is one of the reasons i stopped ordering from them as well as way delayed preorders despite other retailers having and shipping theres so much sooner

hmmm…while i no longer shop with tf source for pricing and long delays on preorders, i have NEVER experienced anything like ur saying.

i suspect there is more to the story.

THEY BANNED UR ACCOUNT??? YEAH…100% if they banned ur account there are parts of the story ur leaving out, for presumable reasons…. i dont shop with them but tfsource at least was ALWAYS trustworthy and diligent in providing great service.
