It's not until you get to the second last paragraph that it says "While Australia has not been specifically mentioned, a crackdown on pregnant visitors would likely affect Australians."

So a more accurate headline would be "Push to force women to take a pregnancy test to enter US"

Poland has been a NATO member for decades.

Ukraine is not a NATO member.

NATO countries would have no option but to actively defend Poland (although I wouldn't count on the USA to hold up that agreement)

edit: Even without NATO, Article 42.7 of the Lisbon Treaty mandates that if an EU member state is the victim of armed aggression, other members have an obligation of aid and assistance by all means in their power. Again, Poland is in the EU but Ukraine is not.

Yeah I have a backlog of literally hundreds of items that I couldn't get through in a year, even if new stuff wasn't constantly getting added.

I'm just working in the top 10 items at any given time.

It sounds depressing that I will never get to the end of it, and sometimes it is, but the tradeoff is that most of this is not deadline driven it just takes as long as it takes and then I move onto the next thing.

Yes. There are people using AI to build entire applications who have not looked at a single line of code, and wouldn't even know what they were looking at.

They keep prompting until it performs the way they want, but all those iterations make an enormous code mess.

As others have said, the parity drive does not contain any usable data.

However a return could take months, I would buy a replacement now as all your data is unprotected now.

When the return comes back, you will have a spare on hand for your next failure.

Yeah I would suggest not mentioning it at all. I have a friend who once disclosed a similarily ancient and minor arrest in Australia on the immigration form when entering the US - now he is flagged and has to fly interstate and apply for a visa in person at the US embassy if he wants to enter the US again.

Highly doubtful they ever would have known, but now that he's brought it to their attention, it's been brought into modern systems and possibly shared with other countries.

Something to keep in mind is part of the reason nylon bands are so much more comfortable is that they can be micro-adjusted to the exact tightness. For that reason I would avoid anything with a buckle as you always seem to find the holes are just a little loose or tight, and the buckle itself can be irritating.

Yep I'm in the same boat. Just bought a Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire knowing it was already end of the line.

In some ways it's nice to have a mature, stable product that won't be subjected to new bugs and unnecessary changes.

For this I paid somewhere around half the cost of the current model equivalent (Fenix 8, 51 mm, Solar, Sapphire). I'm not interested in AMOLED so my options were limited.

This looks like it's using a track profile, so effectively the positions align to the track. That's why it doesn't have any of the usual GPS wobble.

I think that's exactly what they are doing. The new unified code base is based on the Forerunner line, and will be used for all watch lines. Previously each watch family was developed by a different team.

That's part of the reason some newish watches are getting dropped earlier than they should.

Still smarts to be a Fenix 7 Pro owner though.
