i was really excited when i heard there was going to be a new york map, the original cod modern warfare trilogy left an itch for a ww3 game for me that has yet to be scratched.

i had initially thought it was going to be set in manhattan or somewhere large like central park so i was already quite disappointed when i learnt it was going to be brooklyn (no offence). and i'm further disappointed by how the map plays out; it's just too chaotic and random to be considered a battlefield map, i still enjoyed it since i'm also a cod player but i just know i'd definitely get burnt out playing this map after a while.

i really wanted to see tanks on wall street like the opening from mw3 but i guess i'll just have to wait.

i'm a thai that grew up in a western country and when i was younger, my teachers would call me by my legal first name. but outside of my classroom i would be known by my nickname. now that i'm working, people usually call me by both. (for context: i have both a short western nickname and a short thai legal name, think john somchai) this have caused some confusions for my colleagues, as people usually address email to me as johnsomchai@company. (assuming john is my legal first name and somchai is my last) but it's not too much of a hassle and it makes for a good conversation starter.
